Ok now that I have the bank situation all cleared up I've ran into a new problem! This is not my month! My new problem is they returned a check...the nice lady at the bank wrote me a letter clearly stating that is was their error. So as soon as I leave the bank I come home and call Wells Fargo..that is who I pay my car note to...only to be told by the lady that they will never again be able to accept a check from me since one has been returned. I explained to her that the bank wrote a letter I would fax it, bring it in, what ever and would they then be able to? She again tells me no! Is that fair? I mean since the bank is clearly taking fault for this whole situation? Is there anything I can do?

What would I do w/ out my Dis friends??

Maybe if the bank addresses a letter directly to them and sends it themselves? I remember years ago when I first had a checking account, I had written a check for $5. The bank cashed it as $55! Made another check bounce. They wrote a letter and sent it to them and it was fine. Good luck!!

Tell your bank, they should take care of it.

Or mine did when they lost a deposit of mine. A whole bunch of checks bounced. They wrote letters to each of the companies, and paid all fines. There were no problems after that.

That is what the nice lady at the bank did but they are still saying they can no longer take checks from me. I don't feel right doing it by cash because they don't give reciepts and I don't recieve any kind of statement from them for my payments. Isn't something wrong w/ that?

Will they take credit card payments? I pay a lot of my bills with me debit visa. It is basically just like using a credit card, but the money comes directly out of my checking account.

I am calling right now to find out right now!! Thank-you!! Uhmmm...why didn't I think of that first?!?!

Another idea... Maybe if your bank offers online bill paying the car loan can be paid by a bank through online payment. It is like they are receiving a cashiers check... Which would be another option for you, although some banks charge for those too...
