What do I do now?

We are booked for a week of free dining. For a few days of our reservations we have ADRS for four people and the rest of the days we have ADRs for three people. We just found out that the third and fourth person will definately NOT be joining us.
From what I understand I can't just call and switch our ADRs to two people can I? If I show up with just two of us are we going to be turned away?

I had 7 booked for CRT & CM for next week -- my mom & dad had to cancel -- I called & switched to 5 without any problems. Reservation number stayed the same & I got credit for 2 adult meals back on my credit card (for CRT).

You can show up with 2 and you will most likely be seated. (Parts of parties miss ADRs all the time for various reasons I'm sure.)

With it being FD, ressies are hard to come by. I can totally appreciate your not wanting to lose the ADRs you do have. What you might want to try to do is see if you can make any new ADRs for 2, and if successful at each place cancel the one for 4 right away. With the online system, you will be able to know right away if there is availability for a party of 2. (Even if you did this at your resort with the concierge it would then potentially free up a table for a family that walked up during FD.)

ETA If you do call and there IS AVAILABILITY for a party of 2, they WILL change your ressie for you.

On our most recent vacation at WDW, we had two in our group who got very sick with the Disney flu and missed several meals. When we checked in at the podium, we informed the CM that we were 2 short (I did not call ahead and cancel any of them because I had no way of knowing when they would start feeling better and be able to join us) and we did not have any problems.
