Specifically, cinderella's Royal Gala dinner at 1900 Park Fare and the Sleeping Beauty Tea. The girls will be all decked out in their princess regalia. What should Mom wear?! :confused3

I just wore my regular clothes to 1900 Park Fare. I have not been to the tea so that may be different. It's too tiring getting the little ones ready to bother making a fuss out of my own clothes! ;)

I didn't see any other parents dressed in any special way as well.

Have a great time!

From what I've seen, as long as you are wearing something, it doesn't matter what you or your kids have on.

Hey if you can fit into a princess dress i say go for it...I've been trying to squeeze into one for a year now, arm holes are just to small…boo...(although i've never seen an adult dress up for tea/1900)

I just wear my usual park atire, shorts and Tshirt. For a couple dinners I mught dress up a little. But with having to dress DD6 princess: and DS2 pirate: who has time to make themselves look good! This seems to be true for alot of moms.

I will were normal park attire for dinners, as will the kids. However, we bought fancy dresses for the Tea Party, my girls don't like the costumes (too itchy), and I did buy a simple dress to wear to that with them.

Last year we went to Chef Mickey's and there was a family with Mom dressed as Tink & dad was Peter Pan. My best friend, her DD and myself will be having breakfast at the Palace and plan on just wearing sun dresses. We don't want to have to change and waste time before we enjoy the parks.

Last year we went to Ohana's dressed in hawaiian shirts & skirts. People looked at us like we were absolutely crazy. From the looks of some of the people waiting for dinner, in the bar and the restaurant you would have thought we were aliens! My DD(14) and her best friend I think wanted to climb under the table!

But we actually had a blast and the lady leading all of the entertainment kept giving us extra lei's and pointing out our great clothes! She kept picking my kids to help with things, so it really worked out great.

Just to let you know, adults are not allowed into the parks in any kind of costume, except for the MNSSHP. Don't know about at the resorts, but I doubt they'd let you into a character meal dressed as a character. WDW doesn't want to confuse the kiddies, or be liable for some nutcase :rotfl:

I've never seen any moms dressed in gowns at 1900 Park Fare dinner, so don't worry, you don't have to dress up along with your DD.

My family & I always just wear our matching Disney shirts.

I wasn't planning on wearing a costume!! :rotfl2: But if my girls are all dressed up, I figure I ought to look nice as well. I'm talking specifically of the 1900 Park Fare dinner and the Perfectly Princess Tea. For the other meals when we are in the parks, I will of course, just wear my day clothes.

Just make sure you wear underwear; don't want the flies from outside to follow you in.

I figured we might wear our blue Hawaiin dresses and shirts to 'Ohana but now I'm not sure if I want people to look at us like aliens! :confused3 Then maybe my kids will get special attention too!

At 1900 Park Faire we wore normal clothes. It's a great restaurant, but a buffet so didnt't dress up at all.

I might wear something a little dressier to the tea to make it more special and for good family pictures.

We went to CRT for breakfast in July and my girls and I all wore skirts so we'd have some nice pictures with Cinderella. There are five in our party so we got 2 pictures. We had them take 1 of Cinderella and our girls and one of the whole family, with Cinderella. They came out great so I'm glad we did dress up. We brought extra clothes to the park and put them in a locker and changed into shorts after breakfast.

I always dress kinda nice because I like to look nice in any pictures that are taken. I usually wear nice shorts or a skort with a nice top.

I've been wearing long, gauzy 'gypsy' or broomstick-style skirts to the parks during the summer. They keep my legs covered from the sun, yet are very cool. They can look pretty dressy too, depending on what top you wear with it! And, I don't get the sticky leg sensation when I sit in the ride vehicles.
