Loved the pins at ebay tip and really loved the pack and take out half. There are washers and dryers there !

I couldn't imagine going without a parkhopper. Here's how we've used them:

We start out at, say, MK at 9:00 a.m. We stay there until about lunchtime, and then go back to the resort to rest during the worst heat of the day. Then, around 4 or 5, we go back out, this time to a different park (usually Epcot) where we'll have dinner.

I wholeheartedly agree! The parkhopper is an absolute must for us. I love to plan and make ADR's but I don't like to plan our vacation down to the minute and want to have the flexibility to say yes to the kids when they say, "Can we go back and do EE one more time?" Saying no to stuff like that because we don't have a parkhopper pass would totally take the magic out of the trip for them.

I hear a lot of people saying they buy water from Staples ahead of time. How does this work? What shipping address do you give to Staples? Does it get delivered to your room by Disney CM's or do you go pick it up at the front desk?

Also a few pages back about rider swap: My DD7 is very reluctant to ride anything with water but my DS 5 will do anything. I was hoping we could ride Kali River Rapids and then swap off and DS could ride again with DH, but I wasn't sure. It's just fast pass rides though, correct? And you have to go altogether and then tell the CM that you are swapping when they get back?

Jessica, You can ride swap on any ride. Just tell the first CM you see for that ride and they will tell you what you need to do. You can do it on FP rides too.

Another tip I like to use is to program my hotel information, park information, and other attraction information into my Favorites on my GPS before I leave for my trip. This way, all I have to do is select my destination from my Favorites instead of trying to find the address while I'm driving. If I do this beforehand, I can make sure I have the right information as well...

Additionally, I will make sure my GPS has the latest maps and points-of-interest (POI) information.

On our last trip - the best thing we did was buy one of the back pack bags with strings that go over your arms. What made it great was it could be folded small enough to fit into a pocket. When we went into the parks we carried her mister bottle and didn't need to have a bag checked. We saved that time of going through the bag check line, yet we had a back pack for anything we purchased (drinks, small items) once we were inside.
Anything my wife would normally have had in her purse fit into a pocket for the walk through and then transferred after we entered. (ponchos, asprin bottles, etc...)

Relax, enjoy, know going into your trip that you cannot do it all! Do your faorites and new things, but know you'll be back again and just try to totally enjoy the whole trip! Next, wear really comfortable shoes, I too found that putting deoderant on my feet caused me to not get any blisters:!!

DH and I swear by our nalgenes. We bring a couple in our luggage and fill them up with ice before we leave our hotel. During the day, we'll fill them up at fountains or ask for ice water as CS restaurants. We bring two types of drink mixes: Crystal Light and Gatorade. We like to have cheap options at the park, they're both about $2.50 for 8 packs at Market Basket You just have to use 2 packs at a time because the nalgene is so big. The kind of Crystal Light we get is called "Hunger Satisfaction" because it has 3g protein and 5g fiber per pack. Keeps the hunger grumpiness away if you're in a long line!

Saves a bundle of money and keeps lots of plastic out of the landfills

We also pack lots of granola bars from home and fruit from the continental breakfast in our park backpack so that we can pull them out anytime we get hungry. We are both crabby when we're hungry... Doesn't make for magical touring!

The best advice I got was to stay on Disney property. The resorts are part of the magic...I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Getting to the parks at Rope Drop. During Spring Break that tip was worth its weight in gold! Walked on to everything in the Magic Kingdom for the first few hours. By the time I had to leave to meet someone in Epcot 3 hours later, it was like I was swimming upstream. It was just a sea of people coming into the park. Nuts!

8. Be nice to everyone you meet or encounter...it can be contagious!

We went during Spring Break this year, Easter Week. I was really stressing about the crowds, but thanks to fellow Disers tips, we had a fantastic trip.
Be there at rope drop. They even let us in early and we were on our first ride when the park officially opened.
Go home for a nap and swim. When it got to crowded to endure, we went home for a recharge. Made for a great day.
Moleskin for blisters. I had to really hunt for this but it works soooo great!! I and my daughter both got blisters, even though I walked every day, 3 miles for about 8 months to get ready for the trip. i cut it, put it on the forming blister and we kept on going. It was great!
