What Disney Podcasts do you listen to?

OK. I tried WDW Today. If the guy who is doing it is reading this ONE BIG SUGGESTION. If you are going to do those "listener question" shows do some research. Sorry, but I found the one of those I listened to be very frustrating.... Read the question, responses were either "we don't know" or wrong.

The other few shows I listened too were fine, but that just drove me crazy.

My favs are still Inside the Magic and WDWRadio. (And Ricky did win the dream job!)

Thanks for the suggestion. We're not afraid to say "I don't know" because no one knows it all and occasionally we do get a question that we're not certain on but we do give our opinion on it and ususally get the question answered by either a guest or another listener in the show notes. Thanks for trying us out :thumbsup2

Great suggestions!

I love watching videos from Bringing Home Disney.
June 30, has great fireworks display from disneyland! Beautiful!

I will give the above suggestions a try! glad I saw this thread!

I will keep listening, but that show did kind of drive me crazy. (I kept yelling the ansewers. NO, there's no bus to Epcot from the BC LOL!) Hope my response wasn't too critical. I liked the live show with Deb Wills and a cast of thousands a lot!

When Im listening to a Disney Podcast, the thing that bothers me most is going away with more questions than I came in with. Sometimes that is a good thing , usually not. If you are not Steve King or Quentin Tarentino, usually not.

The Disneyland Resort Video Podcast just came out with it's 8th installment. It is billed as an intro to the new Nemo ride in Disneyland, but it is more like a history of the 20,000 leagues ride. Still cool to watch though.

Now that I followed the link. I have to again say my Favorite is
WDW Today, You guys are "outstanding". I'm sad to be almost caught up with the archived podcasts but keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone on the new ideas of podcasts. That should keep me busy for awhile, but a special place in my heart for Matt, Mike, Mike and Len:goodvibes

Thanks for bringing this thread back to life. I love podcasts, and it's great to have the list of disney podcasts. So far I've only listened to the DIS, and I look forward to it every Tues.

You all have GOT to watch the video podcast from
Bringing Disneyland Home.......#35, date: 5/19/07. It is fantastic!!!
Awesome music from Blue Man Group! I even downloaded the song .

I listen to the Dis (obviously based on my user bar below)
WDW Today
WDW Radio (I love Lou!)

Based on this thread, I'll give Netcot a shot too..I can't get enough Disney podcasts!

I use to subscribe to a bunch, but just wasn't able to keep up. I now only subscribe to "Inside the Magic".

This morning I have the following Disney Podcasts loaded to listen to for the week:
Mouseguest
WDWRadio
WDWToday
Magical Definitions
The Mickey Room
Trapped On Vacation
Meandering Mouse
Character Breakfast
Inside the Magic
Netcot
Mousestation and
Window to the Magic.
Every one of these shows has it's own great qualities and that is why I listen to them.
I will listen as the week goes on and if I get through them before the end of the week, I'll add some more.

I am in the same boat as you. I used to listen to around 6 or 7. But time constraints have forced me to narrow it down to just the Dis, WDW Today and WDW Radio.

I still feel like I get my Disney info and entertainment with out being overloaded.

Thanks everyone for this thread. I listed to DIS Unplugged for the first time yesterday. I am looking forward to your other recommendations.

Nearest and dearest to my heart is the DIS Unplugged. My first podcast discovery...I never miss it.

Netcot podcast rocks!! For anyone who hasn't tried it out, give it a shot. Netcot.com. Van is a true Disney fan with a wicked sense of humor. (And he likes Def Leppard! C'mon, who can't get on board with that! :confused3 )

I have WDW Radio downloaded, but with it being over an hour each week, I find it hard to listen to all of it.

I also listen to WDW Today. I like that one for my quick fix. LOVE LOVE LOVE Len Testa being on there...with the book and all (ding!) and I love Newell as well. I agree with CarolA that sometimes I find myself trying to answer questions for them, but overall, I think it's a good podcast.

Thanks for the other suggestions from everyone. I'll have to try some of those out.

Hi

Finally bought an iPod and discovered WDW today a few weeks ago. Being an iPod newbie I subscribed so I am getting all new ones, and also clicked "GET" to put any old shows on my ipod also. This only gives me the opportunity to download back as far as show 227 - I know that I can access others from the WDW Today website, but is there a way of me getting these onto my iPod?

Thanks in advance

One year and one day to go to our next trip! (09/07/08)

Yep! Go to http://wdwtoday.com/index.php?topic=podcast and on the right side of the page, you'll see a list of a few of the most recent episodes with a link to More underneath it. Click More and scroll to the bottom of the page, where you'll see links to pages containing the show notes from earlier episodes. Once you've found the episode you want, right-click on the Main Feed link (located below the header for that episode) and choose a directory to which to save the episode. It's in mp3 format, so iTunes will have no problem with it. Once the download's complete, go into iTunes, click Add file to Library, and select the episode as the file you want to add. Voila! Hope that helps!

That really is great. Thanks so much. Only 359 days to go until our next trip across the pond so I need to get some study done!

No problem! I absolutely adore that podcast and have several "favorite" episodes that I've listened to multiple times, especially when I've got a bit of time between trips. It's like a little bit of a "fix" to get me through!
