What discounts have been offered in January in the past?

We're planning a late Christmas trip over my sons Birthday in January...our tentative dates are January 7-15th, until we buy plane tickets, we're flexible though...I know you guys are the Disney experts, so what discounts have been offered in January before?
I've already made just a room only reservation at Coronado Springs, and have budgeted the trip based on "rack" rates from Disney's site. Would be really cool if they'd come out with a good enough promo to pay what we're paying at rack rate for CS, add a little more and stay at the Polynesian. I know, I know, keep dreaming, right???
