Saw another thread entitled what did you pack that you wish you hadn't. So, I wanted to know the opposite. What didn't you take and wish you had????

This is a bit gross, but fiber. My son had potty problems. We'll put it that way. He is 14 and not used to eating that much unhealthy food. The poor guy couldn't go potty. I told him he had to eat fruit. What does he do? He comes to the table with a banana! I had to explain to him that bananas are part of the BRAT diet that hospitals use when people have the opposite problem than he had. He still laughs about it. Next time I am bringing Citrucel for him. How's that for starting a thread off right?:confused3

Next time I go I am bringing a nightlite to put in the bathroom.

more shoes. It rained so much that standing water was up to our ankles!

scissors.

But now they live in my Owner's Locker, so I always have them when I need them.

Sounds like you really go it going.:thumbsup2
Heehee!

I might end up doing the Owner's Locker myself this year. It will save me having to pack the same stuff each year!

Sunglasses!!! Lots and LOTS of sunglasses! We brought a pair for everyone, and I had about 4. I ended up buying 3 or 4 pairs I think. That equals about $75.00. I just can't see without them, and they kept breaking. We also got sunscreen on a pair and it wouldn't come off the lenses!

I didn't bring a tiny screwdriver and had to search all over for one as my nephew bought a camera and it needed batteries. I had the batteries but not screwdriver. So, I have a tiny one in my purse just for that purpose and that screwdriver came in a package of AA batteries..perfect for me:)

A powerstrip. I hate it when hotel rooms don't have enough outlets for everyone's phones, cameras, iPods, and laptops to charge.

Yes, sunglasses! We've lost and broken more sunglasses while at Disney, and you definitely can't go without them in that strong Florida sun!

I have a solution for sunscreen on glasses lenses ....... my DD figured this out when she got sunscreen on her regular glasses and had issues seeing .......

Many check out counters, especially those with glass display cases, have 'glass spray' to use on their counters to keep them fingerprint free. Simply ask the cast member there to spray a bit on your glasses. Voila, sunscreen comes off easily! :thumbsup2

I always end up needing some kind of first aid item that we didn't pack.

One trip, needed ibuprofen for a fever, this last trip we needed hyrocortisone and benadryl for a rash.

Next time, I'm just going to pack the whole medicine cabinet and save myself a trip to the drug store. :goodvibes

We needed Motrin for my daughter's fever in 2010. Disney only carried Advil, and she had never taken it before so I was nervous. It worked out in the end, but I was bummed to throw it out to fly home b/c it cost me a million dollars (just kidding!). In 2011 I took everything! I didn't need to use most of it, but we had it just in case!

The bottom of half of my swim suit.:rotfl2: Other than that snafu..... the only thing I wished I had was my own pillow.

Party at Disney!!!! Heehee! I got an odd picture in my head of Mary Poppins in only half of a bathing suit! Backspace, delete! I agree with the pillow though. I was missing my head dent.

Great tip! Hotels are notorious for not having enough outlets (or putting them behind pieces of furniture, making them inaccesable!).

I brought one only because my husband sleeps with a C-pap, and I sleep with an Auto-pap, so it made it much easier to plug the massive plugs into a strip than into the wall.

I'm taking an extension cord (6 sockets) instead of a power strip because it will allow more freedom to move it around.

Dishsoap for my mug and other dishes... as well as some laundry soap for a few mishaps!

Definitely more clothes with long sleeves even if it is summer because it always gets cold in the evenings or with my luck it rains and I have nothing to wear. Even though, it has a bright side, I always end up buying a lot of new clothes  not that my husband likes the idea :rolleyes1
