Just wondering what the "brides" are wearing for their VR ceremony. Looking to possibly do an Escape VR ceremony at the Wedding Pavillion in Feb 2012 for our 25th Anniversary. I'm just starting to research this a little and was just curious what people chose to wear. I'd love to see any pictures if you have them.

Thanks!:)

I want to know the answer to this too! :thumbsup2
We just got married, but have been together for 12 years. We loved how our Disney wedding came out and are already thinking of doing a VR for our 25th anniversary together :goodvibes
Also, is it known to do multiple vow renewals through your journey together? I would have no objection doing one every 10 years! :rotfl: ;)

Since we are doing ours for our 25th anniversary, I wanted something silvery. DH is wearing a tux with a silver vest/tie.

I don't have my dress yet so here is the pic with the model:

If you click the link in my signature below it will take you to my TR of our Vow Renewal. I believe the pictures start on the 2nd page.

I wore a wedding dress because I never had a big wedding and didn't get to wear a dress the first time. I loved it and for me it was just perfect. I didn't let DH see it until we had our reveal the day of and the look on his face was priceless!:lovestruc

I, too, am wearing a proper gown for our VR in three weeks. I didn't wear one when I married DH (I wore a long skirt and a top) and was determined that I would wear one this time. I think it has been said that it is poor etiquete to wear a bridal gown for a VR, but I really don't care!!!! I love my dress and can't wait to wear it!!!

For our VR in November 2012, I am planning on wearing a pink cocktail length bridesmaid dress from Alfred Angelo. I plan on potentially pairing this with a pair of chocolate and pink dress flip flops. (I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis in my feet, so heels are out of the question) We want to do this very casually. I think DH is wanting to wear dress shorts and a button down Mickey shirt, which is fine with me. When I get to do the invites, we are planning on putting Mickey Shirt and Ears Optional, instead of Black tie. :rotfl:

I'm wearing an ivory wedding dress. I didn't get to wear one when we married so I wanted to wear one this time. Here it is: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Charmeuse-Side-Drape-Gown-with-Sash-WG3026 I'm making a few modifications like removing the sash and getting a jeweled belt. If you don't want to wear white David's bridal has a large selection of beautiful bridesmaids dresses that come in a wide array of colors. Many are under $200.

For our vow renewal I wore a platinum colored satin cocktail dress with beading at the waist:

Next time around (yeah, I said it:rotfl:) I might go for a more formal/long dress. We planned on very short notice so I had to go with something off-the-rack that didn't need any alterations at all.

Ok, so we are renewing this November (in March we celebrated 15 years). We had no wedding, young 18 & 19 year olds (almost 19 and 20 at the time), and in the military. The GA justice of the peace married us, so I have purchased a dress (custom), it cost $200!!!! And I love it. My wonderful husband has seen it, but I'm not a superstitious person to begin with, so.....here's a link to it.

Thanks for all the replies. I love all your dresses! Keep the photos coming it's giving me lots of ideas! :yay:

I also wore a long silver dress for our 25th anniversary vow renewal onboard the Disney Wonder back in 2006. I wanted something to represent the traditions. I had the white dress when we got married in 1981 and did not want to repeat it. Do what you really want. You will be happy you did.

I didn't post my dress when I replied before!!
Here it is. Can't wait to wear it in a little over two weeks!!:yay:
