What did you want to be when you were little?

My youngest DD is 3, and all she ever wants to be when she grows up is a Kitty Cat. She walks around the house on all 4s meowing all the time. I ask her what she wants for Christmas, and she says "To be a kitty cat."

What about you? Did you ever want to be something funny/cute like a princess, or a ninja, or cat?

Aw, how darling.

I wanted to be a nun! Sr Benedict in the Bells of St. Mary's...but when DD was 3 she always said she wanted to be...you'll never believe this..."a Cocktail Waitress"! We had absolutely no idea where she had even heard the term. Then when she was older we asked about it and she said she saw a Happy Days episode where a girl wore a cute skirt and sweater so that's what she wanted to be!

Kids are so darn cute!!

A ballerina, a judge, and a photographer. I have no idea where the judge came from. My mom used to give me her old cameras (back when film was 120!) and I would take pictures of everything. I actually took ballet lessons until I was 17 and a toe shoe accident ruined it for me.

This is totally crazy, but the only thing I ever wanted to do as a little girl was be a housewife and mother. (June Cleaver-style). I am a mommy but a housewife I was not meant to be. My butt has to be out in the rat race earning money. (or else we don't eat).

My son Nicholas is 7 now, but at his daycare graduation, the administrator announced what each child wanted to be. Nicholas wanted to work at McDonald's and have five kids with no wife! Needless to say I was one proud Mama!

when my dd was in kindergarten she wanted to be a tattoo artist and a garbage man!!!
she liked bob the builder and wanted to ride on the back of a truck. and she used to like watching miami ink with her older brother!
it was cute to see it in print in the yearbook at the end of the year!!! she's almost 11 now and embarrassed when we talk about it!

My DD9 wanted to be a doctor from her first words until just recently when she decided that took too much school so she wants to be a fashion designer or teacher.

I wanted to be the first female quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers watch out - it may happen yet - this 49 year body still has some throwing arm left on it .

Then when I got into high school I decided to be a surgeon. But I got married after my first 4 years of college and my husband and I moved every year for his job and we kept thinking that one day we would stay in one place and I could go to medical school. That still hasn't happened yet either. I wonder how old the oldest medical school graduate is? Oh well, some dreams never die.
