What did you think of the WDW thrill ride tour "maxi-meet?"

I would like to hear some feedback from those who participated. As for me, it was a blast, but very tiring at the end of the day. I'm not sure I'd do it next year, unless a lot of people ask me to do it again.

So what are your views?

I had lot's of fun on JayPD's tour...but I did leave early!! Somebody please remind me NOT to do Kali (twice) next time...way too uncomfortable walking around in soggy shorts for the rest of the day

Yes, I agree that it was a bit tiring, but it was well worth the effort. We did dry out (yes, Donna, we rode Kali twice, too, only a lot more than just my shorts got wet!) and spent the rest of the night in Epcot after we left your group to retrieve our lost keys, but we ran out of energy when it came to the Adventurers Club meet!

I thought it was a lot of fun sharing some of my favorite rides with a group of DISers, and spending the whole day together as we did allowed us to get to know each other a little better that a short mini-meet would allow.

Here's a suggestion for next year - How about a pre or post DIS-CON thrill rides tour at IOA/Universal? That would give us some different territory to explore. I suggested pre or post DIS-CON as I felt that most DIS-CON attemdees would prefer to spend their convention time in Disney parks, and also not being locked into the full day format would allow the thirllriders greater flexibility to participate in other convention events. Just a thought........

I personally want to thank you for organizing the thrill rides tour. I know you put a lot of effort into figuring out if this would actually work, and into getting all of us organized into our tour groups, so thanks for all your hard work.
