What did you give your son/daughter for college graduation?

Our ds is a college Jr. He will likely get a card and a family dinner out. $100K college education is more than enough "gift".

As I read this thread and reminisced about my college graduation...I had to laugh out loud!!!

I graduated some time ago (1985). My parents did not pay 1 dime towards my expenses. Yes...I was immersed in student loans. The only thing they "paid" for was providing me a vehicle - a POS!!!

Upon graduation, I was asked what I would like within reason. I selected a single disk CD player - $328.00...like the ones you can get for $50.00 today. I used it for years and wore out the laser...but still have it in the box. What else did I get? Funny...I got the "turn in your car...you have graduated. Now you can go buy your own!!!" Since I was getting married the following Spring, they allowed me to stay at their house.

I can tell you I will not do that to my 2 daughters...they might have to have some ownership...but I will take much better care!!!

And yes... a WDW trip will be in order for their graduation!!!
