What did you give out this year for Halloween?

I gave out Kit Kats, Twix and Baby Ruths. I decided to buy only things that my kids would like so they would take care of any leftovers. Interestingly enough, the stuff I bought is also things that I like.

Since we were trick or treating, we left a large bowl of candy on our porch. We stopped back at the house mid way through our candy tour and there were still some things left in the bowl.

lollipops, miniature Crunch, twix, m & m's, nerds, tootsie rolls,almond joy, 100 grand and animal cookies for the real little trick or treaters..

My only regret is we don't have whoppers...My fave...

DS picked them out! He did a good job! The only one of those he likes is Snickers!

At home I gave out nothing because we were not home, I used to leave bags of candy outside but the last two years "someone" has been dumping all my candy in their bag ( I know because the neighbor across the street saw them ) and then I get people who tell me they walked up and my bowl was empty. In school they had reeses, kit-kats, peppermint patties , suckers and I don't know what else.

I started with a 16 quart stockpot filled with an assortment....Starburst, 3 Musketeers, Snickers, Snickers Crunch, Almond Joy, Reese's Cups, Fastbreak, PayDay, M&M (males), Hershey Bars, Twix, and KitKats. We went thru 2/3 of it.

We live in a neo-traditional neighborhood, so the kids do very little walking, but can still hit every house in the development in about 2 hours. I would say that we had about 100 kids, and things tapered off at 8pm.
