It was DD's 18th Birthday and DW and I had to make ourselves scarce for the girly party.
We went up to Kington and had a meal at Tony Roma's ( We miss Florida)which was great , The place opposite was called Mickey's Bar which made us laugh.

I was wondering what you all got up too??????

I spend the day and night working
the lights went out at 4pm and came back on about 12.30
so it was a funny new years eve
but we made the most of it :rotfl2:

hope everyone had a nice night :wizard:

  Happy New Year to you all

We popped into our local for a couple of drinks, there was a very scary singer on who was wearing skintight leopard print leggings (and this was not a young man - not that it would have been much better if he was!)

We then brought our friends back to our house for more drinking and karaoke. They finally left at 5 am.

We went to a ball and had a fab time, though had to leave before the end as DH was on call for the Hospice next day. Finally go to bed at 4.30am

We went to see Kylie at Wembley. Fantastic:thumbsup2

We watched TV, had a bottle of wine and went to bed after Romancing the Stone finished :)

I bagged myself a white gold necklace it's a bit different to lots out there the center looks like Mickey Ears, DH was poorly like most folks we've talked to so we took things easy and DS played with his Star Wars figures and vehicles and we watched some tv, kept the bubbly for this weekend !!

I ended up staying at home as didn't feel too well :guilty: was only going round to my brother's but didn't even feel up to doing that and he only lives a 10 minute drive away. Stayed in and watched TV and drank champagne while DBF messed around on my laptop. Sad eh!!

No it was closed for new year :confused3

I spent it at MK with about a million other people all wearing black top hats and blowing those flaming hooters. It wasn't the night to go losing anybody :rotfl: dinner at CP was lovely Tigger trod on my foot :)

NYE was a washout for me. We had "pre-booked" my mum for babysitting duties some time before, only for to phone us in the day on an unrelated matter, and she slipped into the conversation the fact that she was having my sisters toddler staying over that night. Clearly she had totaly forgotten we had "booked" her. Didnt say anything, as she would have been upset about it, but we didnt go out and I spent the night watching my 2 teams (The Packers and the Jags) not make the playoff's in the NFL.
Wonderful.

We had a quiet evening at my mum's. We watched the fireworks on TV and felt something was missing (probably a Disney soundtrack!). Next morning she pointed out a photo of the fireworks in the paper and said they looked much more impressive in the paper than on TV - I then pointed out that the photo had been taken in Sydney!
