What did you buy on your trip? Please post pictures!

Hi everyone,

I am (im)patiently counting down to my trip which as you can see from the below is not until August so I still have ages to wait

One of the things I love to do whilst we are on vacation is shop (we don't get to visit very often so my excuse is that I must make the most of it )

I love the World of Disney Store but also enjoy the Theme park and resort shops.

Would love to see pictures of what everyone is buying on their vacation (and perhaps where you bought it and how much it was) as this will help pass the time but also give me some ideas for my own shopping

Just returned on 4/8. I bought:

Haunted Mansion Ghosts by Jim Shore, The Mickey and Minnie dressed up for Halloween statue, The Tomb sweet tomb collection. Yes...Halloween nut here. I only buy with a discount. AP holder 10%......but I have found that the Electric Umbrella at FW Epcot...gives 20% coupons on their receipts.

If you like the Mickey Mouse ear caps, you'll find some are are sold exclusively at certain parks. My wife picked up a "Pirate Princess" at Animal Kingdom" that I didn't see sold anywhere else...even in the Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop! (They were probably were out of stock.) To my knowledge, the biggest selection is at The Chapeau on Main Street in the MK. I don't know if any other parks do monogramming of the hats. I think they still do it by a hand-operated machine rather than by computer.

I'm not a huge fan of these hats or collectibles, but they're something to buy that can't be found easily in stores outside Disney. We bought a Precious Moments figurine in the MK and had to shlep it back home. I thought it was an exclusive, but I could have bought it for the same price online.

IMHO, get something that's not available in retail stores or the Disney Store. It makes it feel more special.

I love my Disney Halloween decor, I've always gotten them at MNSSHP or around that time. Where do you get them year round?

I bought a Mickey watch at DTD, Christmas ornaments at the Christmas store at DTD and a Mickey necklace...no pictures but, that is what I bought
