What did we think of TEEN MOM 2?

Leah: Jeremy wants to be away from you because you are whiny and tell him to shut up all the time.

Please tell Cory to shave off that beard.

Kailyn: why the freak is she letting her mom stay with her? I did almost shed a tear at her talking to her on the phone.

Chelsea: hopefully now she has found her "thing" and can really provide instead of having Randy do it.

Jenelle: yea, they both have a kid each that other people are taking care of :thumbsup2 and now they want to place house with this new baby, I would be having Jace move right in with them.

Barbara: did ya''ll catch her being dirty minded when Jenelle was saying names? wow.

What disturbed me the most in this episode was the conversation between Leah and Corey.............HOLY CRAP they are WHIPPING Gracie. Leah is "taking her pants down and wearing her out" .............ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???

This disgusted me listening to this. WHAT part of the USA do they come from that ABUSES a child like that and just talks about it so casually like its OK???? My Gawd. Gracie just wants attention. And Allie cannot move as fast as Gracie or I bet she would be all over the car etc.

I am also confused how all these children, Gracie and Aubree can get OUT of their car seats so easily. My kiddos are older now BUT they were in car seats and booster seats yearssssssss ago and they never were able to get out of them!?!?!? How is this 2014 and kiddos can easily get out of them????

Leah needs HELP. To sit on the phone and tell a friend that "Jeremy would rather work than be with his family"........are.you.kidding.me. THAT does not even MAKE SENSE. AND Leah talking to her Mother was NO help. I would love to hear what Leah's step-dad would say to Leah if he heard her talk like that. Her step-dad always makes the best sense.

Kail's Mother is a p.i.t.a. To say what she did to Kail on the phone "I will be there for you no matter what" ...... whatever loser. Wait until she gets a new boyfriend, she will leave Kail like she does over and over again. Gawd.

I did not know what to make of Aubree's tantrum. That was sad and intense.

Leah is a moron. Her mother is such an enabler. No man will ever be able to live up to her standards. Corey is a good guy and a good dad. Jeremy is a good guy and a good dad. She always seems to be looking for a reason to cheat. She's a constant woe is me kind of girl. I agree about Corey getting rid of that awful beard.

Chelsea - she's doing well. I think Aubree was just overtired, must have missed a nap or something.

Kalyn- her mom is trouble. She needs to close that door

Jenelle - disgusting. I forward through her parts mostly.

Leah should be thanking her lucky stars she's not living on the streets and standing in the welfare lines. She has not one, but two, great baby daddy's in her corner. Like so many deadbeat dads do, Corey could have easily walked away and left her to deal with those girls on her own. But he's stuck with her and is there for it all. He seems like such a good daddy. Those girls are so lucky to have both Corey and Jeremy in their lives...two hard working, loving men. She's very fortunate to be a SAHM with a home, cars and extras for hair and nails. My husband is away 75% of the time and you know what, we make it work. His job requires it and it just is what it is. Leah needs to grow up!

Did anyone else laugh out loud when Jenelle was talking to Nathan about his pregnancy? She said that when she was pregnant with Jace, she was so immature and thinking that she and Andrew were going to have the perfect family and just live so happily. Now, she is mature and excited because she knows that NOW she and Nathan are going to have the perfect family and live so happily. So, let me understand this, Jenelle. You were immature in the past in thinking that things were perfect, but now you are mature because you think things are perfect. Sound logic right there. :thumbsup2

Oh, and also a smart idea that a baby will fix all of your problems. Loved her saying that she thought that the baby would bring them closer since they only fight about stupid things and the baby will fix that. Has anyone ever heard of a baby fixing a relationship? Let's take a high stress relationship and add a high stress situation such as having a baby to it. I can't see how that would ever possibly fail. :rolleyes2

I love how Leah takes care of her girls... The baby has a bottle feeding herself and the older girls are drinking mt dew and scrounging for processed crap in the fridge while her and her mom eat spaghetti! I loved "that's not a cookie it's pepperoni" oy vey

Leah gets more pathetic each episode! I totally noticed that poor baby holding it's own bottle. Age 21 and three kids, one with special needs. I would have a nervous breakdown.

Leah drives me crazy. I ff when she starts to whine about her hubs being gone. Get over it and grow up!!! ARGH! I was waiting for her mom to tell her to grow up. My mom would have.

Aubree's tantrum - Chelsea has no patience. I've been through many tantrums like that. Getting upset doesn't help at all and rewarding her with ice cream definitely helps. NOT! I also loved when she kept threatening Aubree that she was going to call Poppa. Put the kid in the car seat, buckle her in and go home. btdt

Jenelle is my favorite train wreck. She says and does some of the stupidest things. At this point I feel sorry for Nathan, he tries to be rational and calm and she goes off like a roman candle over nothing. Poor guy is sort of trapped now - I'm sure he loves his MTV money. Anyone else catch when she told the drs office she doesn't do any recreational drugs. :confused3

At this point Kailyn is the best of the bunch. I do hope for good things for her and their little family. Javi seems like he comes from a very tight knit group that welcomed her and Isaac. And that kid is so ADORABLE!

So are we placing bets on which of these adorable kiddos become the next generation of Teen Moms/Dads????

I've seen episodes when that baby was asleep with a bottle in her mouth. It makes me incredibly sad! I don't know why she wanted a baby with her new hubby so soon when she is barely taking care of the 2 she already had.

I don't understand why she didn't just strap Aubree in and leave? There is a chance that the ice cream scene happened on a different night than her mega tantrum but due to editing they made it seem like the same night. If it was, there is no way I would've taken her for ice cream after that!

I don't know why this show is my guilty pleasure. I like watching for the editing and inconsistencies and how fake and scripted it is. You can tell that when Jenelle was telling her mom that she was pregnant that was not the first time she had heard it.

I love how Jenelle told Nathan they wouldn't have time to fight because they would be so busy HAHAHA! I can't believe she said that she just didn't care about anything when she was pregnant with Jace. I would be so sad for Jace to see that when he's older. I understand she doesn't have custody so he does not live with her, but she does not work or go to school. Why doesn't she spend a lot more time with him?

They're all in for a major reality check when the show comes to an end this season. Rumor has it they aren't renewing the show. They're going to have to make some serious changes when the dough stops roling in. I bet you Leah will start singing a different tune when Jeremy gets another job offer to make $40k in 5 weeks.

Leah is my favorite, but with that said she does drive me crazy with the Jeremy out of town thing. Then I remembered my Dh use to work 12 hour shifts sometimes for 13 days straight when our kids were little. I hated it and to felt like a single mother too!

As far as her "abusing her children" I think that it is over dramatic generalization! I live in rural upstate NY; Leah lives in WV in what I believe is also a Rural area. Slang is common in many rural areas, especially southern rural areas, and I believe that "wearing her butt out" means she disciplines her or spanks her. Whether you agree w/ corporal punishment or not spanking is not child abuse!

It isn't a rumor. MTV has officially cancelled it.

Jace. I feel sorry for that kid. He's already a problem child with the cursing, hitting, and pinching. It's only going to get worse as he grows older and realizes what Jenelle did to him. That girl has no clue. I laughed when she told the dr that she doesn't do any drugs. K, you keep telling yourself that. Did anyone catch the Soup episode this week when they made fun of her voice over and called it Sad Wonder Years? Genius.

This may have already been said but Jenelle seems like she is basically a younger version of Kailyn's mom, worried more about herself and her next boyfriend than her child. I imagine Jace will end up a lot like Kailyn: emotionally unstable, unable to trust people and volatile.

I think Jace is going to be in juvenile hall/jail very early in his life.

Yes, I agree 100%, he will be in trouble with the law by the time he is a teenager.

As a mom of twin girls too, who became a mom for the first time at 19, I was rooting for Leah---until she made me absolutely sick to my stomach talking about how she whipped one of the twins. Something along the lines of taking her pants down and "wearing her out" :furious:

My husband is a physician and so often goes days without seeing our kids before bedtime because he is stuck in a surgery, on call, etc. we have 4 kids ranging in age from 3 months to 10 years, and with 2 school dropoff/pickups, multiple sports, Girl Scouts, church, etc, I am constantly in my own with all of them, driving all over town for this activity or that one. Still, I have never resorted to pulling my kids pants down and beating them nor remotely considered it.

I also do not consider myself a single mom and I would be insulting real single moms to do so. My friend lost her husband 2 weeks ago and she is now a single mom, a job I don't envy nor equate to my own. My friend has to go to work everyday, pick up her kids, grocery shop, cook, bathe, feed, so homework with, sports, etc all on her own, every single day of her life, with never a moment's break. And to say my life compares, when I am only on my own here and there but do have a husband who eventually comes home and even if he didn't parent at all that day, can still be there for me to vent to, well, just no comparison.
