What Did That Sign Say???

Have you ever driven passed a sign where one or more letters of the sign were burned out and it turned into a totally different word? I've noticed two this week that have just cracked me up. The first one comes from a small hamburger place up the road. It's called TEXAS HAMBURGER FACTORY. Well, the h, a, m, and the bottom part of the b were burned out and long with the r, f, a, and c. This made the sign look like TEXAS PURGETORY. A misspelling of purgatory but it still sounds the same.

The second one belongs to Cavender's Boot City. I think this is the funniest. The c and i of city are burned out leaving only CAVENDER'S BOOTY!

So am I the only one that notices these kind of signs or have any of you guys seen any funny signs too?

Not quite the same but in Louisville there is a billboard for Tatoo Charlie's tatoos while you wait. We have always thought that one was funny.

We had always thought of leaving a limb there to be tatooed while we did other shopping but I guess you have to wait for it to be done.

Sign in a mall in West Virginia - Ears pierced while you wait. Good thing, I hate to leave my ears and come back later to find out they gave them to someone else by accident, or maybe they lost one.

Last year someone took the C's off all of the Charlottesville welcome signs...I was living in Harlottesville for a while
