about making ADRs without the park hours? I am going 12/6 to 12/13 and am getting really nervous that I won't have the hours when I can make ADRs on June 9th. I already have tickets for MVMCP 12/9 so I know I am going to make an ADR for CP that day. But I wanted to make dinner plans for before Illuminations and Fantasmic but how can I when I don't know which nights they will be? So I'm just wondering how you all did it since the hours for November aren't posted yet but many people have made their ADRs. Thanks.

When I made my ARDs for Oct 31-Nov 4 I asked for the latest seating for dinner to get a feel for what time the parks closed.

I went by the Nov. 2007 hours. Pretty much a guess obviously but I wasn't about to wait around and then not get the restaurants I wanted. There's a link to the Nov. 2007 hours over on the theme park boards under the post November '08 Posting of Hours. Good luck!! :goodvibes

This is what I did....I also used the "standard" EMH list for the Park page on this website and allearsnet.com to figure out what parks to avoid on specific days...I educated myself the best I could without the hours....I made all my ADR and hope that I did okay...There are only two early morning reservations that may be a problem...Other than that, I made our ADR for the times we like to eat and the places we like to eat...I sure it is going to be fine.

Thanks for answering. Are any of you planning to go to Illuminations and/or Fantasmic? If so, what do you do about that?

I haven't made any ADRs yet for my trip. I actually won't make them until a discount becomes available.

Using last year's hours as a guide...My main concern was the Osborne Lights...We love them and wanted to make sure we can see them...I hope I planned the day and timing right for seeing the lights at DHS.

Illuminations and Fantasmic are every night. Some night Fantasmic is twice, and Illuminations is always at 9:00, except I think during December it's 9:30.

We're going Thanksgiving week, and I made our ADRs using last year's park hours for Thanksgiving week and TourGuide Mike's recommended days from Thanksgiving week last year.

I just used standard park hours for that time of year. We've always gone in Nov. I wasn't looking to be in a particular park during EMH or MVMCP because we prefer not to deal with the crowds which is why we go in Nov. Anyway, I made mine at 180 days from my last day there and got everything I wanted when I wanted.

I'll be there for 7 nights, the week of Thanksgiving.

I made most of my ADRs for resort restaurants. There's a few (Coral Reef, Le Cellier) that are in the parks...I'm just hoping the hours work out in our favor!!

I used a guide from another web site on which were the best days to visit. Then I just picked off times to eat. The only one I couldn't get late sittings for were the Magic Kingdom. Also, for Fantasmic! Thanksgiving week, the latest dinner sitting was something like 4:30 at any of the restaurants. The CM said with out the calendars up, they could only book for the early show. I plan to change that one if the calendars ever come up and there is a later showing of Fantasmic! on the day we are at HS.

Oh, wow. I didn't know this. I'm glad I asked. So I guess it doesn't really matter which day I choose for Epcot, right? Thank to all who replied. I am still keeping my fingers crossed that December hours will be out JUne 1st but I guess I'll stop worrying...who am I kidding? I am going to worry all the way to December 6th!!

I'm not sure about 9:00 vs 9:30, but Illuminations is every night, and 30 minutes shouldn't be too much of an issue. I hope the December hours come out for you guys who are planning December trips.

We booked based on last years hours. Luckily, I only have one dinner that may be changed due to hours.

I have lunch at CP after the Family Magic Tour, late lunch at Kona before MVMCP, breakfast at Boma the day we leave and the one I may change - The Wave on Sat. night. I have a 6:00 ADR and no definite plans for this day. I am waiting to see when Super Soap Weekend is to determine what day we will go to HS.

We are not on DDP and without the hours, want to be more flexible with our time.

I haven't made any, that's how I've dealt with it! I don't know yet where I want to be when, and have decided to wait for the hours because we don't have our heart set on a lot of specific ADR's.

I'm at least glad to hear even without park hours, they're allowing people to make their ADR's! Good luck everybody!

I made mine already, I hope they work out. I keep checking for November park hours!:surfweb:
