Splash, the greatest log flume in the universe... let's talk about all the great details of this great Disney attraction!

A few of my favorite details consist of:

The Music! I can ride Splash over and over just for the great music!
"How Do You Do?" So, so fantastic!

I love the America Sings birds and the Bear being berated by the Fox is great. The Possums I love and the Vultures! Yes!!

I love the rollercoaster type drop in the dark and of course the final drop, hands up it really is so much better!

I love the animated shadow of the fox on the last hill-climb as you approach the big drop... the view at the top is one of the best in the park too.

The Brear Bear house with him snoring is fun and the beehives, oh... the beehives!

I'm going to stop now. :rotfl:

well one of my favorite parts of splash mtn on my last trip doesn't really have to do with being on the ride personally. when we were on the dland railroad going from NOS to Tomorrowland we got to see a couple of people going down the big drop....The expressions on their faces were priceless!! :rotfl:

Yeah the double whoopty bang in the dark is something I forgot about the ride..that is way cool. It is a rough ride..not like Indy or Thunder mtn. but still if you have a bad back, be careful:yay:

I LOOOOVE the music. The goofy, carefree vibe of it is an inspiration to me.

But on the topic of "funny faces" on Splash Mountain, my favorite instance has to be my sister from a trip we took maybe ten years ago.

There's me in the front with the ears, but my sister is the third from the front. Not exactly sure how good the quality of that picture is (it's a picture of a picture), but the face is just classic.

It is with this childhood memory that I ride Splash again and again.

There isn't anything about this ride I don't love!!

What's best for me, tho, is that my DS13 and I are the ones that love it...our first ride, it is the whole family. Then one by one, the rest of them stop riding as he and I go back over and over. We love it, and it is a special ride for us to share. We always plan what we will do for the photo, and it is great fun to see how they turn out!:lmao:

I'm confused.....the train goes through Splash AFTER the drop, you don't get to see anyone's faces and they go down.......

I love the theming of Splash, it's great!! As a kid my second favorite movie was Song of the South (second only to Jungle Book) so even though Splash has a HUGE (50 FOOT!!!!!!!!) drop I still ride it because of the theming. Brer Rabbit is great!! I always sing, and even after the drop (and I'm TERRIFIED) I'm laughing and having fun!! I love the roller coaster up and down part too.....and I always get more wet when we are inside the ride then on the big drop. So many details that we love about it!!

EVERYTHING!

I last went on the DL version in 1991 - i have been since on splash at WDW - so i can't wait to go back on it when i hopefully visit next month.

The music, the characters, the log flume - its all great!! :)

(I really wanna meet brer rabbit and tell him that splash is the best log flume in the wolrd!:thumbsup2 )

I love this ride and it's the only one I was actually at on it's opening day (Yes the lines were huge that trip). I love the fact that it's both a thrill ride and a dark ride all in one. It's fun and cheerfull one minute, and exciting the next. It really holds its own as one of the best rides in the park.

I really don't know what my favorite part about Splash Mountain is because I love it all! It is one of my favorite rides in Disneyland. But I have to admit that my most favorite parts are when you are in the dark and don't see the firsts mini drop and my most favorite part is the huge 60 foot drop! No matter how many times I go on SM I always scream my head off :scared1:

The music!!! I love love love the music!!! :dance3:

And ducking and screaming to make sure I don't get wet! :scared1:

The music is great! I am not a huge fan of this ride but I do love the music. Also the part where Brer Bear is tied up and rising up and down... I love his big bum... LOL!

Sorry....I goofed, I meant we were on the Mark Twian and were able to watch as some people came down the flume......NOT the Train...

I think the whole ride is fantastic.

- I love seeing the pictures as you get off the ride to see everyones expressions,

- The music

- The drop half way through the ride that bounces you in the dark as you end the drop.

- Seeing the Disneyland rail road going past up above you near the end of the ride

Oh, ok, that makes sense. :) I've stood over on TSI and watched people come down. :lmao:
