I thought it was universal among all the resorts. It worked for AKL Concierge.

I think it applies to all, but it depends on availability. Not hearing too much about anything but AKL and WL right now.

Do they usually offer better discounts for AKL than for other deluxes? I have the Poly reserved for June, but if the AKL discount is significantly better I would seriously consider switching to them. I know they're cheaper to start with, but $164 for savannah view seems like a huge discount.

I got it for CR in April. Tammy at DU had to upgrade me to garden view from standard, but I saved $111 over the AAA rate for two nights. I'm happy!

I booked Beach Club Resort for about $204 with AP holder rate and then changed to the other code (hadn't bought my AP yet and it's not worth it for just a 7 night stay) my current rate is $214 a night...Contemporary resort only had Tower Rooms available at $255 a night (regular code) and Yacht Club only had water view available...they are offering deluxe discounts just depends on when you go and what's opening up.

I called yesterday and was able to get the AP rate for AKL concierge @ $345/night. Called back this morning and inquired about the "general public" code and was quoted $355/night. For only $10/night difference it was not beneficial to me to continue with the AP rate.

I did not have an AP at the time as I was waiting to see how good the AP discount was first. Since it will cost me about $160 more to get the AP over the "regular tickets" I'd get it just did not make sense to spend an extra $160 on the AP so that I could save $70 ($10 X 7 nights) on the hotel. I only go down to WDW about every 18 months and will only be in the parks 5 days anyway on this trip.

By the way, anyone know if "concierge rooms" just aren't discounted as much as other rooms. The going discount for Concierge rooms is about 20% but I've seen discounts for "regular" rooms in the 30-40% range.
