What days would be better to visit DL over DCA over Memorial Day weekend? (m)

EE is on Sat & Sun for DL. So, I was thinking that my touring could be as follows:

Fri 5/23 --- DL all day & night with afternoon break (Am I correct in assuming over the 3 day weekend Friday would be the least busiest??)

Sat 5/24 --- DL for EE in the morning... Then, at 10 am go over to DCA for the rest of the day and evening with an afternoon break.

Sun 5/25 --- DL for EE in the morning but stay the rest of the day and take the usual afternoon break.

Mon 5/26 --- DCA or DL for missed attractions. I have Goofy's kitchen scheduled for 9:30 am but I'm thinking it might be better to do a later breakfast/lunch around 11:30 am instead so, we can ride rides in the mroning and then, take a early lunch break? What do you think?

P.S. We'll be staying at GRand Californian Hotel.

DL until it gets crowded (probably about 11am), have 3-4 FPs in pocket to use that night in DL....then hop to DCA for 2-3 hours. Pick up FPs at Griz & either Soarin', Screamin or ToT. Ride the FP ride & Griz before walking into the secret GCH entrance for a 2-3 break (unless you want to ride the FP ride after your break on your way back to DL)....but ride Griz & get wet BEFORE your break. Back to DL at night.


Sat 5/24 --- DL for EE in the morning... Then, at 10 am go over to DCA for the rest of the day and evening with an afternoon break.

Repeat above (but you'll probably bail on DL at 10:15am).


Sun 5/25 --- DL for EE in the morning but stay the rest of the day and take the usual afternoon break.

Repeat above.

Yes, schedule breakfast a little later.....& repeat above. (unless you take the monorail to the DH for Goofy's from TomorrowLand.

Note - you're not doing the same thing every day....you're employing the same strategy every day.

DLR is much different from WDW. Hopping every day & taking a rest every day (especially when it's crowded & especially if you're at the GCH) is the best way to avoid the crowds, imo.

If you haven't seen the HydroGuy tip thread sticky yet, i recommend it.

Thanks.... I did change our Goofy reservations... I can't wait to go. I've been reading Hydro's advice and I got ridemax too.
