What day would you switch?

I am considering a split stay between two resorts for our trip next year. As we all know S-Th points are cheaper while weekends cost more. Also as we all know, some resorts cost more points than others.

I am planning to start out at the expensive resort and then switch to the cheapie. We will be staying a full week Su-Sat.

Would you switch on Wed or Thursday? I am leaning towards Wed.........

Oh, boy. It would be harder for me to start in the more expensive place and move to the cheaper. I would go from the cheaper to the more expensive. However given that you are doing the more expensive one first I would move on Wednesday.

Well for us, the expensive resort does not have much as far as cheapie food options...one place, people rave about, but the menu can get pretty old. It is known for it's other TS places It is an offhand occassion that we even eat at our resort, but when the mood strikes us that "Oh let's get something to eat" and not have to go far, we like having options. But on the other hand, this resort is very close to some INTERNATIONAL food options so it may not be an issue.

On the other hand the cheapie resort does have a variety of food options, so either this will be in our favor, or we will so trained from the beginning of the week "do not eat at the resort go elsewhere" that we might not take advantage of the food options there.

And I say this, but I'll tell ya we are not foodies, however with a soon to be three year old (around that time next year) convience is key.

Plan B of course is to stay at the cheapie resort all week if a split stay is not possible. My only desire for a split stay is to get to experience other DVC resorts. Plus the little one is such a huge splash play/water baby and the expensive resort is known for having a revered water area. This year we experienced SSR three times. I like SSR, I just need variety.
