What day would you recommend going to an Angels game?

We're going from the 6/15-6/20 to Disneyland. We want to be at the parks the day of opening of Cars Land so that rules out 6/15, 6/18-6/20 is during the week so it would be best to be at the parks at that time. So it comes down to either 6/16 Saturday Gametime is at @ 7:05 or 6/17 Sunday gametime is 12:35. Thank you for your replies! :)

While I prefer night games, for me more dramatic, and cooler air to sit in I would go on Sunday.

If you don't want to spend the pregame time on Saturday and just get more time in the parks here is why Sunday. It will be a big weekend with DCA reopening. So on Saturday SoCal APs the second largest AP group is blocked, on Sunday they are not. So that mean Sunday may be worse for crowds.

DCA is only closed on the 14th, right?

Not sure which day to advise, but I would check out Stubhub for tickets. I purchased all my baseball tickets for our trip in early July thru Stubhub and was really surprised that I could get 4 Club Level tickets for the Angels at $102 total with fees included. Just checked the dates you're looking at, and you'd be able to get around that same price for Saturday and cheaper for Sunday, depending on how many are in your group.

We definitely learned our lesson from our trip 6 years ago. Went to a Sunday afternoon game and sat up in the 500's and it got unbearably hot up there. It appears the Club Level (300's) would have the upper deck over it for some shade.

I'd go for the night game. More comfortable temperatures and no sunburn.

I definitely agree that Stubhub is the way to go. I would let the ticket selection determine which day I go. I've bought a lot of tix there and you can get some tremendous deals.
