what day of the week is best to try 2 parks in one day?

We will be in Orlando from March 17-23 ... spending most of the time at WDW, but we want to spend one day at Universal. What day of the week would be best? Can we try to hit both parks in one day? We (me, dh, ds-10, ds-8, dd-6) are "commando-like" in nature - but we want to have a good time! Any hints would be most appreciated! Also ... what's the best way to get from All-Star Movies to Universal? We will have a car, since we're driving from Indiana for this trip! Thanks again!

The best day to go is on Sunday. Sunday seems the least busiest.

As getting from WDW to Universal, follow the WDW signs out to I-4. Head east on I-4 to exit 30A or 30B and follow the signs. I would tell you how to get out of WDW, but I usually just follow the signs. I can never figure out the exact names of the roads on WDW property.
