Nowadays I don't think any days are inherently cheaper, it depends on how many cheap seats were designated on particular flights and how fast those cheap seats got snapped up.

I will go along with the previous statements that the probability is greatest that the cheapest seats will be found on Tuesday or Wednesday on any particular on line shopping session.
