What country in Epcot do kids like best?

I am finishing up research on my book. What Epcot country do your kids like best and why?

DS 5 favorite is the train in Germany.

That is a very hard question because my daughter likes pieces of each country and does not necessarily have a favorite. She is 3 and loves Epcot. I think kids love the variety and diversity of experiences and people they meet there, not a particular country. She loves Germany because she absolutely loves Biergarten. Other than CRT, that's her favorite restaurant at WDW. She loves Mexico because she loves the boat ride there, and really likes the tortilla soup at the San Angel Inn (Sopa Azteca). She loves the United Kingdom because there is a toy store. She loves Norway because of the Princess meals at Akershus. She loves the outpost because of the drums and the Frozen Lemonade. She loves stopping at any country to see the street entertainers. She loves finding the Kidcot stations in the different countries to get charms for her mask. She loves running around Morocco because she pretends she is in the marketplace at Agrabah (Aladdin). She loves seeing the Princesses out for meet and greet in different countries. I think if you put her in one country and asked her to stay there, she would be bored. It is the overall that she adores.

DS3 really loves Canada, but it's becuase he can pretend we are "back at home". Overall, he loves all the countries in EPCOT; as a pp mentioned, it can range from the KidCot activity to the street performers, or an actual ride (DS loves being a viking in Norway on the Maelstrom).

If we tell you, do we get annotated as a research source when your book is published? OR does the DIS?

hmmm, they REALLY liked the malestrom ride, and of course, the viking swords and helmets from the gift shop, and the adults liked the "shut up and fish" stuff from Sig Hansens section from the Deadliest catch!

Actually Yes! I have been using the kid tips from my survey (link in signature so tell all the kids you know). the child plus his or her city, state, and age are used in the book, if they are picked. Of course, I would thank the Dis . The publisher likes what I have so far, so I am trying to get it all finished by Aug.

DS10 - Mexico He says it has the best atmosphere, a ride, and it is nice and cool when it is really hot out.

Well if we're not talking restaurants ( cause it that case it's Germany ), my kids like Norway for the ride, troll-y shop and ( used to be ) viking ship. ( I think it's gone now? ).

They also enjoy the shop in Japan and the Mexico Pavillion.

He likes the trains and the dinner show too. also Mexico likes to try on all the hats, oh year Morrocco too. loves to play the drums, Germany, DS3

Mine likes Germany the best because he loves the Biergarten, the train, the toystore and the Christmas shop. Japan is a close second because they sell Transformers .

Our DD, 6, like something in all the countries, but she LOVES Mexico. She likes the restaurant, the boat ride, and the "outdoor" feeling of the "inside" of the pavilion.

My DD 7 says Mexico. She likes "when you go inside, it looks like you are outside." She also likes the ride.

My DS 10 doesn't know.

DD10 likes Mexico for the food and ride and DS8 said Canada for the food and the movie - he likes the song O Canada!

DD5 and DD9 love Mexico (LOVE Donald Duck and the boat ride) and Norway (Maelstrom) the best.

DD14 loves Japan. She is a nut for everything Japanese and especially Anime stuff. She LOVES the shops there.

My DS-3 likes Germany (the trains) and China (the gymnastic performance.)

One of my children love China and one loves Norway (because of the boat ride). The others don't really have a preference as they are a little younger.

I have two in no perticular order. My girls were 2 & 3 when we went last time, and their favorites were:

Mexico for the ride and because Donald was just always there
Japan for all the fun stuff, and the oysters/pearls.

My DD12 votes for France! She loves the crepe cart and the Bakery wiith the GIANT cream puffs She also loves the flower carts and feeling like she is in Paris.

DS 14 has always liked Japan...since he was young.

DS9 is kinda like me and couldn't give a flying flip about any of them.
