what could we find in your freezer that you forgot about?

I need to clean out my freezer. I know I will find something in there that I'll say "OH YEAH! I forgot we had this......."

Chicken carcasses. We freeze them until it is trash day, and then never remember to put them out. Maybe we should make a nice soup.

Ummm.......nothin'! I just cleaned mine out last weekend. :teeth: There was some odd stuff in there, though.

I just found a big box of Eggo waffles in the bottom of my deep freezer today. Totally forgot I had them---we have a Mickey waffle maker, so we use that all the time.

Diapers????? (remember the post about someone finding frozen diapers in a freezer somewhere) :rotfl:

Seriously I have a frozen turkey and a ham that I got for free and both are probably about years old. I just can't throw them out though, because it is a waste of food.

I cleaned out the freezer the other day and found 3 bananas in the back. No idea where they came from.

At the very bottom of my freezer is a box of corn dogs. I am always suprised when I see them. I always forget that they are in there. :rotfl:

A box of juice pops that nobody likes. I keep meaning to toss them, but never remember.

mkae slushies - throw in osme fruit and presto! Someone will like them!

A half eaten ice cream sundae. My DD always gets one, eats half and saves the rest for later, which never comes. :)

tuna casserole, homemade by grammy :crazy2: She sends it home with us and we toss it in the freezer to be forgotten about forever.

A box of phyllo for making baklava. I bet it's been there for 3 years. :confused3

If I've forgotten about it, how can I tell you its in there??? :confused3

Deanna :cat: :bored:

I'm scared to look! We have 3 fridge/freezers and all need to be cleaned out. It's a job that I'm dreading so I'm using the HITS approach--head in the sand. If I pretend that I don't need to clean them out then I really don't need to, right? :rotfl:

Ok, this thead is too funny. :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I have a frezer chest so there could be oh so much. We do use it all the time.

However there is always some frezer burned meat in there that just should go away, but you hate putting in in the trash.

When I was a kid my mother used to cook it up to feed it too the dog (she was and still is ultra cheap, something about the time she was raised) It made the whole house smell so bad. I hated that, and poor dog (but then again he was a farm dog that we made live outside. ) No we didn't live on a farm. My dad got it from a friend who did and the dog never liked being inside. After a while he smelled so bad we didn't like him being inside either. (Before people jump all over us, he did have a dog house and lots of fur!) Oh now I miss my childhood doggy! :dog: :paw: (I never had reason to use those before, now I get to on a frezzer thread no less!
