I'm currently waiting on my acceptance/denial/pending email into the College Program, but as I sit here and ponder wether or not I've made it into the program, I ask myself... What could have gone wrong? I mean, how terrible does an interview have to be in order for you to be denied from the program? Is there an specific, select things that the person who interviewed me didn't want to hear? Was being talkative, friendly, and asking a lot of questions good enough to get me in?

I'm pretty sure Disney doesn't want to hear that you'd abandon a guest you were helping because you had to go on break or something stupid like that. Short of that, Disney has one of the easiest interviews out there and I think very little could go wrong. Really, the only thing you have going against you is sheer number of applicants. If you had a good interview and you did the best you could then you should be confident! :)

Not getting in doesn't always mean that someone did something wrong. It could just mean that there was another applicant who was better.

Not everyone who tries out for a sports team will make it. Not everyone who applies to Harvard will get in. Not everyone who applies for the DCP will get an offer.

After she was done interviewing me, she asked if i have any questions for her and I did and I asked them. Will that impact/help my chances at all or is asking the person questions just totally irrelevant from the actual interview? Because after I asked questions, that is when the woman and I really started talking about stuff and laughing. You know what I mean?

Its actually an excellent habit during a job interview to ask at least one question. It lets the interviewer know you have a genuine interest in the job.

When I had my interview for CP, I asked a couple of questions of my interviewer and had a short conversation with her. It was very nice and i ended up getting accepted about a week later.

I feel like my answers to all the questions were satisfactory, but my overall attitude was even better. I laughed, smiled, asked a few questions and asked the woman some questions about her CP experience. I just hope that was enough to get me in.

FINGERS CROSSED.

It's not that an interview has to be terrible to not get you into the program. With thousands and thousands of applicants they can afford to be picky. The majority of applicants will not get into the program. That being said, there were definitely people I couldn't believe were offered a spot.
