What could be going on 12/1 & 12/2 at the CR?

Trying to assist my parents in booking a room at the CR, and there are no rooms (beyond junior and hospitality suites) on these 2 days - all other dates around this time frame are available with the pick of accommodations. My TA tried, and I've been playing around on the WDW site myself.

What do you think it is? Being so soon after Thanksgiving, I don't know that it would be a convention - and it's a Thursday and Friday! And it doesn't make logical sense to have anything to do with Pop Warner...

Anyone know of anything? I'm just wondering if they might have any luck of something coming available. They want to stay in the tower!

Yeah, you are right, it can't be Pop Warner. I am going myself the beginning of December, and I do also know that usually they stay at moderate and value resorts...at least I am counting on that anyways. But as for what is going on then at the CR, I have no clue. Hope someone can fill you in. Try calling WDW reservations directly and maybe they can clue you in as to what's going on then? Sometimes they know.
