We're thinking of going as Michael and John from Peter Pan, but noting is set. Anyone else have costume plans for MNSSHP?

I have made matching flynn rider costumes for my son and I. Daughter and wife will have storebought rapunzel dresses.

We do costuming up righteous in my family.

An old friend from my college program is making her yearly trip out to not so scary this year and we're doing Dipper and Mable Pines from Gravity Falls.

We were Max and Roxanne last year. Adorbs.

We are going as the cast of Gravity Falls, too! DH and I will be Soos and Wendy, and the kids will be Dipper and Mabel. Most of our costumes are done, but DD insists on carrying a Waddles around, so I started on him yesterday. I have never made a stuffed animal before, but so far he's turning out great. I had to buy more stuffing today (photo was taken yesterday), so his face will look a little more even once I add in some more fluff...

My friends and I usually just do normal, non-Disney costumes.. this year we're thinking togas! (tasteful, of course) ;)

Hahaha, know exactly what you mean!! Trying to find a bodice/corset for our pirate costumes that kept the girls tucked in instead of up & out was quite a challenge!! :rotfl2:

The Dreamfinder! My costume is coming together better than I expected. DSis wants to be a nostalgic inanimate object so we're trying to get that to work out before I'm allowed to announce it to the DIS.

I'm actually planning on either being a Shadowhunter from The Mortal Instruments series or Eponine Thenardier from Les Miserables as well as Sarah from the German language musical Tanz der Vampires (no, I don't care if anyone gets it. I'll just be a very happy camper in my costume :goodvibes ). My mom and I like to go twice, once for rides and once for shows and parades. We don't like to miss anything and plus, nothing happens on nights the party goes on, we've learned.

Eponine I actually have the costume already since I'm actually playing her onstage for less then ten minutes in Monty Python's Spamalot (it's a joke when they French people come out, there's Eponine in her little hat and raincoat). Her outfit is a white tank-top and skirt with ragged edges that my mom actually made for me with black boots (which I wore with one of my costumes last year XD), brown belt and a brown newsboy hat. I just wouldn't wear the raincoat. It's REALLY uncomfortable, especially in the heat (and how hot it's been backstage :rotfl2:) Light, comfortable (my most comfortable in the show...and the only moment I play a girl since I'm a knight and a monk most of the show.) Not me in the picture, but this is Eponine's outfit from the show

Either will be VERY comfortable in Florida.

Sarah will be the most fun if I can actually do this. I've chosen her red ballgown she wears for the ball towards the end of the show as worn by Jessica Kessler in 2006 (the current one of off the shoulder and rather uncomfortable looking, I think).

I'm determined. This will happen for me. :cheer2:

For the first year I went to the Halloween party, I was Giselle from Enchanted in her "That's How You Know" dress (but everyone thought I was Wendy from Peter Pan :sad2: and all night everyone kept coming up to me saying "I like your Wendy costume!" then you'd hear me go, "I'm not Wendy...I'm Giselle..." but I found another Giselle ("True Love's Kiss" Giselle) and we were laughing. ) and also a "Mickey Mouse fangirl" since we decided to go to a second party and the lining of the Giselle gown wasn't comfortable (basically the outfit was black leggings, black skirt, Mickey Mouse tee shirt (which I brought from home...It was actually a pajama top ;) ) and sequined Minnie ears. Last year, I was Katherine Plumber in the "King of New York" number from the musical Newsies and Ariel in her Kingdom Dress. The Ariel outfit went over AMAZINGLY well and everyone wanted to know where I bought my costume (my secret? My mom actually made the pieces except my long sleeve blue shirt which was my own that I've had for YEARS from Old Navy. She made the black corset and matching blue skirt and bow (the bow was made for a princess party I was supposed to do in 2011 and it got canceled so I had it laying around). I had dyed my hair Ariel red so it worked well. I didn't think about that when I did Katherine Plumber outfit (Katherine's a brunette). Also...Newsies is the same time period as Main Street USA so EVERYONE thought I worked there and couldn't really enjoy my night because everyone kept coming up to me asking questions. It shows my mom made a perfect period costume but it kind of ruined my night. Ariel was more fun. This year, I decided to go a little more into the things I love and Sarah's ballgown from Tanz fits the bill (I'm teaching myself German and I LOVE German language musicals). I'm REALLY excited and I hope it works out. :goodvibes

I'm going to be rapunzel post haircut and DH will be Flynn Ryder. My 2 yr old will be wreck it Ralph and my 5 yr old DS will be fixit Felix or a vampire (depending on his mood that day). And then my 4 yr old DD insists on being a princess... Which one? Not sure since it changes daily.

I am going as Smee from Peter Pan and DS will be a pirate from PL and DD will be going to BBB that morning to be made into a princess. DH is another story. I am having a hard time getting him to dress up. Expecially since we still have about 2 months before we go... He is not a big planner this far out! Any ideas on easy costumes we could get him into?

My DGF and I are going as Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockhart from "Final Fantasy VII"

Let DH be a Smee too! Last year DS was Hook and DH and I went as Smees. Very easy costumes....I found blue & white stripped t shirts like Smee. - we each wore blue shorts and I got two red caps and for us we just wore our reading glasses (or you can get cheap glasses at party store). Cool, easy and comfortable and basically the only costume feeling part for DH was the cap. If you are sandal wearers that just adds to it. Or maybe DH would also like to have a pirate face made at PL.

Depends on the weather.....if it looks to be unseasonably cool, we will wear our planned (non) Halloween costumes where I will be Grue and my wife will be a Minion.

If it looks to be warm, we will opt for something much cooler (thinking of Pochontas and John Smith)

DH and I are thinking about a corpse bride and groom from the haunted mansion. The kids...they are still thinking. Changing their minds often. But, I am not 100% set on DH and I...our niece may be scared of us and not talk to us the rest of the trip!
