I would add stone to the exterior of my house. I LOVE old stone houses but my husband wanted a newer home so right now we don’t have any stone. But someday I hope to buy a really old house with all the gorgeous stonework I can handle!

Non-practical? A private small island in the Caribbean and a private jet to go along with it bonus there's a regional airport nearby I could store the jet at

The frivolous thing would probably be to buy a house, any house, LOL. How do you immediately know where you want to settle down at if you could choose to settle down anywhere in the world? I would be traveling for years so a house would be completely useless.

I don't see a private island as non-practical because eventually that is probably what I would buy to live on away from people. I was looking at islands for sale for S&G's back when we were watching one of those Island Hunter shows. I could actually buy an island now, I found one for $39,000. It was a rock the size of my bathroom, but it was an island for sale none the less

I wouldn't make a very good rich person - my tastes are too low-end. A better house, a different car, more expensive clothes and nicer vacations? Sure but my idea of upgrades aren't really all that spectacular. About the only thing I'd really splurge for (if I had just waaaaay too much money) would be plastic surgery. I could use a little work done.

I'd buy a farm with horses (not too many though - maybe 3) for DD13. I'd also buy my DD18 an art studio where she can make and sell her art.

For myself... the permission to travel anywhere on vacation for the rest of my life. If I want to go on a safari - yes! See the Northern Lights in Norway? Yes!

For DH...whatever car he wants. He's a car guy.

I was looking at islands for sale for S&G's back when we were watching one of those Island Hunter shows. I could actually buy an island now, I found one for $39,000. It was a rock the size of my bathroom, but it was an island for sale none the less

I was looking at it for the non-practical part from a point of buying it and then probably rarely using it while paying $$$ for all the maintenance and whatnot because the idea of it would be lovely. However, it would be so nice to have that privacy and be able to do just about whatever you want. My husband and I always look at the over the water bungalows and wish we could stay at a place like that. I could just build that on my private island

Buy at Golden Oaks with the jackpot winnings. You'd be on WDW property with some bonus perks just not inside WDW parks itself.
