I have just bought my new car, it's red which I am not that keen about but I guess I will get used to it, just got me thinking what colour is everyone elses car?

My car is black and although I love it, it does show up the dirt really bad!

I obviously didn't learn my lesson previously as out of the 5 cars I've owned 3 of them were black!! :lmao:

My car is a green Ford Ka.... And it's name is Kat! :goodvibes Every car I've ever owned has been green- My Astra, and then my Clio, and now my little Ka.

Ours is black too and i agree it shows the dirt but being metallic it shines a treat when it is cleaned. DD is a champagne gold KA called Poppy!!!!

Mines purple, well a very dark purple with a white roof and white wing mirrors.

Mine's dark silver - a bit boring but doesn't show the dirt too much and isn't a colour that devalues the car at resale... ;)

our new car is a dark gray

changed from a red one

was'nt going to buy it because it had no ariel to put mickeys topper on

my yummy car (makes me smile!) but of course a pain in the nethers due to it being black

Mine is black. A bit of a dirt magnet but it's fabulous other than that.

Another Black one here. My fave was our 1st red BMW a few ago now. Black is a pain. Will never have metallic again.

Pic of ours with DW, DS and his friend. Geocaching outside Elland Road, Leeds. DW wanted her initials on the plate for year, cost me a small fortune, keeps her happy:goodvibes .

Silver here, although not really by choice! My last two cars were dark blue, and when the most recent one abruptly died i needed a rapid replacement so bought the nearest one available to me in top condition. Pretty hard to come by in good nick with low mileage, so it was a bargain at only 300 quid. 52000 on the clock and a full service history, the last ten years had been spent in a garage with the bi-annual trip to fords for a service/mot :teeth: 'tis a 1992 sierra, and a damn fine one too. needs a bigger engine though, only a 1.6, such a heavy car..... Anyone who's ever owned a sierra (barring the 2.3 and racer variants) will tell you how much they hate hills.....:moped:

Anyway, i was considering metallic flame red for my next one (eyeing up a new mondeo estate)... feel like i need to make a point since all the cars round here are black, silver or grey, figured in-your-face reddy-orange is the way to go :cool1:

I've got a black Corsa SXi+. It's a real girl-racer car, :drive: not that I drive that fast in it! I love black, and only intend having black cars in the future - Henry Ford would be really proud of me. :thumbsup2

Sara. :)

Mines black and like others have said only looks clean for a minute after you wash it.

DW has a silver Ka and it never shows the dirt (good job too as she never cleans it :lmao: )

Must say the Focus ST in orange is nice :teeth:

But at the moment I will stick with yellow after having had purple!

Claire ;)

No he wouldn't - you drive a Vauxhall :lmao: I kid, of course.

Black is gooooooood. Sadly, since i live on the edge of a country park, dust is a major factor and would quickly turn black brown. I had a dark grey S-Max on rental once for two days while mine was in the shop, had to put it through the car wash as it was a nice shade of desert brown by the time it went back!!!!!
