From listening to the Podcasts . . . It is my understanding that LIME GREEN is not the favorite color of the Crew. I think Pete even stated he hated the color. Is it possible to vote for a new color to represent the DISboards Community? What do y'all think? If so, what color would you chose?
There was a thread a little while ago where we were talking about using orange or purple Mickey heads from Home Depot (because they are the colors in the current logo) to make our own tags as a way to identify each other at the parks...however, it was mentioned in a previous podcast that there would be a new logo soon, so maybe it will have some colors more agreeable to Pete & Crew. (Ha ha -- don't think we forgot Pete/Corey/Will !!! )
I saw a whole family and extended family with lime green Disney t-shirts during our trip this past May. I think lime green t-shirts are becoming more common in the parks for "regular" folks too. I sure can't lose my kids in them though. (Pictures in my signature. )
I think it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too late to change the Disboards lime green color, not to mention the fact that it would cause a huge debate, but myself, I've always thought of the Disboards color as lime green and the DISpodcast color as orange....well, orange and purprle really, but mainly orange. So I had a LGMH and an Orange one attatched to my park bag on my last trip. Two people stopped me to say hello because of the LGMH, neither knew what the orange one was for.
So if the Dis boards' color is lime green and the Podcast is orange and purple, why not do a Mickey head that is orange with one purple ear and one lime green ear? It would certainly stand out, especially really neon-type colors. Then we would never have to worry about being confused with another groups colors.
