what color socks do you buy for your kids to wear with

My boys are very picky about their socks, lol. They only wear Hanes half-calf crew in WHITE! They are in their school bands and must wear black socks, pants, and shoes and it is a constant battle.

Maybe it's a boy thing? The white socks I mean. I typically wear socks that match the color of my shirt with jeans or the pants with dressier pants.

with jeans, my daughter likes to wear "chunky" black shoes. With this she wears black socks. Otherwise, she usually wears plain white.

White socks with tennis shoes - dark socks if wearing other shoes. Although every now and again DDs wear white if they are wearing Mary Janes with pants.

w/ sneakers - low white socks (the kind that almost don't show)
w/ black shoes - black socks
w/ "hard" shoes (like doc Martens) - wool socks

DD loves the quarter socks with the patterns on them - they are mostly white but then have some color in them. These are what she wears with pants

DS has mostly all white. We do have a pair of black, navy and tan for his dress pants, but that is usually just for Sundays.

White and as they have gotten older I can now buy all the same kind. If one gets a hole there will be a match somewhere, lol! If they would only all like the same length! One likes crew, one likes below the ankle, and the other doesn't care!
