What color is your daughter's prom dress/son's colors

I just noticed your pic. She looks so very pretty. Unusual to see the print on the gowns, but this is a great use of it. She looks so effortless in this dress, must be nice to be young and able to carry off any look you want with ease.

Thanks! Floral print skirts were very popular at her prom. Her dress was super comfortable (no itchy edges, no possibility of the top shifting, no tight neckline or shoulders, pockets in the skirt), which is what she loved about it.

I noticed someone else in the thread mentioned garters. Is that a thing in your area? It's not done anymore in the Detroit metro area anywhere I'm familiar with, I guess just fell out of fashion here between my day and now.

Cabanafrau - I am from MI too and in our little town garters aren't a thing but 1 town over they are. I thought they went out of style back in 1989 when I had my prom...guess not.

Hadn't even thought about garters and prom for a million years until I read it here. So funny to see what different traditions are, how they come and go, where they hang on.
