What clothing brand/stores are popular with middle school boys?

Are North Face jackets still "in"?

Trying to get some ideas for my oldest son's christmas gifts + he just needs some more clothes...

Most of the middle school kids here are American Eagle or Aeropostale. Some are already hitting up Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister.

I think you'll be ok with North Face. It's still popular around here, although more with the HS crowd.

My DS12 is in 7th grade, but he's only wearing a size 12- so most of the "teen" stores are out for him. He can wear an XS in Aeropostale, but the XS at American Eagle is too large. I buy him a lot at Kohl's and Old Navy. For him, it's more about the style than the brand. ETA: a lot of kids in his school wear Under Armour, Nike and Adidas stuff too....any kind of athletic clothing.

North Face seems to be popular as is American Eagle. Also, Pac Sun is up there as well.

My nephews love Under Armour and they wear north face but the only 'name brand' they really wear is their favorite college and pro sports teams. Honestly they don't care what is on most of thier clothes as they only really care that they have basketball shorts and tshirts, since that is what they wear all year long, if it's cold they throw on a hoodie. They do however have a thing about Nike shoes.

My 11yr old really wants an Under Armour hoodie.

He really isn't into brands yet. Thank goodness.

I think North Face or Columbia would be fine.

North Face is really big here.

DS is 10 and in the 5th grade. Most of his clothes are "team" clothes (Red Sox, Patriots, etc). He really doesn't care too much about what he wears, as long as it isn't pink or have a big picture of Elmo on it.

This describes the boys around here, everything is sports related, Under Armour and Nike are big here.

And they all wear North Face jackets.

I see A LOT of Hollister around here. I live a block away from the middle school so that's almost all I see when they're walking home, Hollister, for boys and girls.
