What Cars Have You Seen at Alamo - MCO

We booked a midsize in March and on the website it says it's a Corolla. There was only 1 Corolla in the aisle, 1 Cube, 1 Mazda 3, 2 Vibes and the rest of the aisle was HHR's...at least 10-12 of them.

The compact aisle had a bunch of Versa sedans.

Thanks so much.
Corrolla is what we would like because we own one and it gets great MPG. Cube would cool to drive. Have to check the MPG on a Cube.

I never even think about the gas....it's so nice to have something different to drive for a few days and possibly the chance to try out a vehicle that we might consider buying.

I actually would have really liked to take the Cube but we had more luggage than would fit in the back and when the HHR is basically a wagon it wouldn't have been fair to squeeze 3 people in the back seat to accomodate a suitcase in the front. We thought we were going to have to do that, booking a Corolla, but we were hoping for a larger car and the HHR had been reported to be there often. My DD and I were travleling with a friend and her child but if it were only my family we would have squeezed in the Cube.

How about full size options? It says an Impala - is that what we should expect or are there options in that size also?

The fullsize group inventory seems to switch up quite a bit.

When we rented in early April 2011, there were loads of Camrys and Impalas, a few Accords, and a couple of Altimas.

But when we were there in November 2010, no Altimas or Accords the day we rented. We did Camry.

Normally we don't factor in the MPG but this trip we will be criss crossing the state. Plan to visit Tampa one day and Daytona the next and at $4.00 a gallon we need to look at MPG. The trip calculator on gasbuddy is a great tool. It show it will cost us $25 in gas to go to Tampa and about $25 to go to Daytona. I drive a HHR and love all the room it has in the back. It get good MPG too. I get 32 on the highway!
