What caeers will be hot in a few years from now.

My vote is the medical field. It can include nurse, doctors, and therpist.

My oldest ds graduates hs in 2 years. I am trying to steer him into the medical field. I read it will be one of the most stable for the next 10 years. I was trying to talk him into an x ray tech or something like that. He is not into the blood and guts thing, but loves to take pictures so that would be good. He is totally undecided about anything right now.

The medical field is hot now! Every position imagineable is short right now where we live, and where my mom lives (she's a nurse). I have friends who are radiation techs, physical therapists, and physical therapy assistants, and all their fields are in need of people. It will continue to be hot because as the baby boomers age, there will be an increased need for medical services, in addition to the regular stuff everybody needs.

Medical in general tends to be pretty stable as everyone always needs good medical care.
