Debating whether to rent a car or Limo to go from Disney resort to Cruise. We are a party of 4 adults. Maybe rent car at Airport, drive to Disney, Cruise 3 next days then back to Disney. What would parking cost? Could also return car near port then pick up a new car after cruise to get back. Any ideas?

What Limo (Town Car Companys) are good?

For our January 2017 Fantasy cruise we are flying in two days early, renting a car (from Avis), staying on site at WDW for 2 nights then driving to the port. Dropping our rental car off and then getting their shuttle to the port. We'll take the DCL transfer from the cruise port to the airport when we get back.

Parking is $22 a day, so $66 for a 3 night.

We just did this last week. Rented a car through Alamo at airport, spent 2 nights in Orlando, then cruise for 3 nights, then to Disney for 2 nights. A one way rental can be cheap or expensive, it just depends on the time of year. I was being quoted about $150 for a one way rental for the 2 nights, dropping off at the port before the cruise, which was $$$!!! Our rental for last week was $169 for the week with some coupon codes.

I have used both Budge and Avis, they are on A1A and both have shuttles to and from the port. Next month I have a full size car for about $45 a day. I am getting one to the port, then picking one up at the port to MCO. I have been doing it this way for years.

We are doing the same thing next month, but doing it as one way rentals. I am renting one day to WDW (Holiday Inn has the Avis in the hotel). Then picking one up at the Holiday Inn to the port.

We are renting a car at the Dolphin on our last Disney day, Friday, and then driving ourselves to the port on Saturday. We will drop off one parent, both kids, and luggage while the other parent returns the car to Alamo and catches their shuttle back to the port. We will use DCL transport to the airport after the cruise.
