What car rental rates are folks getting for last wk of April/1st wk May?

Still juggling this trip that I'm beginning to think is never going to be..

Only flights we could get were April 26 to May 5th.. Best intermediate car rental I have found with or without codes is Alamo - a total of $277.95 (including taxes, surcharges, etc)..

Anyone done better for that time frame?

Week of May 8th, mid-size from Budget $135.00 that's with all tax and fees using the Ent. discount.

we got 245 (189 I think plus taxes) for emerald alse (intermediate) with national - 4/26-5/3 - but we are still looking
