This is our first time using the plan and I wanted to see what is the best way to use CS ticket.

Thanks!

The Disney brochure indicates that a "quick service" meal for an adult breakfast is a juice, entree and non-alc bev. or a combo meal plus one single-serve non-alc bev or juice. For lunch/dinner, it's an entree, dessert and a non-alc bev, or a combo meal plus one dessert and one single-serve non-alc bev. If its a guest 3-9, they must order from the children's menu (where available).

Breakfast is challenging - its 2 drinks, so we usually get a drink and take it to go (Orange Juice, Power aide, water, etc - and if I brink rum, or vodka we do pick up the OJ for a coctail in the room!!) We either get the CS Breakfast at the resort - or bring breakfast bars and save the CS for lunch/dinner depending on our TS plans (one day may be a TS Breakfast etc)

for CS there is 2 large ones in MK - Pecos Bill is in Frontierland - so if its lunchtime and we come off of Pirates, we'll eat there Cosmic Rays is in Tomorrowland - its a bit confusing because they have several menus, and the line you get in you see the menu - if its not what you want, scoot around and check the other menu boards - both have a large fixin bar and you can still order a bun for $ We usually just get a double cheeseburger and I cut it in half - to share... There are other places in MK that are ok - or smaller, or not open often (that noodle place has yet to be open for us!!)

In Disney Studios - our favorite is Backlot Express - but you must time it before Indiana Jones gets out or its really crowded! ABC commissary is large, so lines move fast, but we dont care for the food there as much...

AK - we just tried the Yak and Yeti CS meal - its a fast food chinese style food and we were not impressed - think chicken nuggets on rice with some honey sauce almost put on top - dh had hte beef - and he wasnt impressed - they were $10 entrees... Tusker House used to be our favorite - maybe we'll have to figure out how to eat outdoors!! (Flame Tree and Y&Y both only have outdoor seating - in that HEAT!! )

EPCOT - our favorite - so much variety in the World Showcase, my surprise due to recommendations on this board is Moracco - we split a meal there and it was delicious (I'm a very picky eater!) At the Future World, Living with the Land across from Soarin - Sunshine Seasons - its great food!! just know that if you go all the way to the end - not the refrigerator cases in betwee offerings - there is a bakery!! GREAT Creme Brulet, Fruit tart!! Love it!!

Good luck planning!!

According to the brochure that Disney has out for 2008 there are far more QS restaurants than you have listed here.

I am pretty sure that Sandy321 was just mentioning her favorites, not reviewing each one. :goodvibes

I know there is a recent thread with comments on the HS CS places and another on the MK ones. If you read through those threads, you'll probably find comments, positive and negative, about most of the CS in those parks.

I am not sure if there are similar recent threads for AK or EP.

Hope this helps :)
