We are on the ddp when we visit WDW in April. There are 4 of us and we are staying for 5 nights, so thats 20 snack credits. Since every meal comes with a snack and I will be bringing our own drinks, I'm sure we will have leftover snacks. After staying on-site we will be going off site, so we can use some food to bring over there. We will be staying at POFQ. Do they have a little grocery store where I can buy chips, donuts, cookies, etc? Thanks for any advice. Linda

You can buy bottled water or another type of drink with your snack credits. Keeping hydrated is a good way to burn through those credits! :)

One nice thing I like to do with mine is to go to the food court and pick up one of the little boxes of cereal and a carton of milk. You get both for only 1 snack credit! It's a quick breakfast, and gets you to the park on time. :goodvibes

Pick up Mickey's rice crispy treats on your last day with the remaining snack credits. Take them back as gifts for little kids back home. Yummy :)

I would keep a close eye on your snack credits as we had a situation just last week.

On our last night of the trip at 6pm we still had 14 snack credits available. MDW loved the smell of the roasted nuts so we pick up 2 bags. Both of the CM that were behind the counter were not the happiest but we thought that hey everyone has a bad day once in a while. Look at our receipt and read 12 snacks remaining.

Then then next morning we decided to pick up a bunch of drinks (water & OJ) and snack for the drive home from the food court and when we went to pay the CM told us we only had only 2 credits left. MDW then got on the phone with the front desk who asked if we purchased 10 turkey legs last night at 6:10. MDW who thinks that they are disgusting said no but we did purchase nuts just prior to this from a cart at EPCOT. It just happens that the code for nuts and turkey legs are the same.

What the CM on the phone hinted at is the the CM at the nut cart may have tried to "steal" these credits.

In short, keep an eye on your credits no matter if they are snack or dinning.

I burned through a bunch of mine on cappuchinos. I don't like the coffee at WDW, but can tolerate the capps.

On our last day, we had quite a few left and ran into Pepper Market to pick up some huge cookies to eat in the airport on the way home.

I also love the ideas of rice krispie Mickey ears.

To answer part of your original question, yes you can get bags of chips, drinks, donuts,etc... Although I understand it might be slightly different at each food court so make sure to ask.

I would have to spend some of mine on the above-mentioned Mickey Rice Krispie treats, though!:earsboy:

If you are near the Boardwalk Bakery , they have some awesome bakery items you can get on your snack credits.

I got this yummy cinnamon coffee cake, among other things. ;) Very yummy!

We used our remaining snack credits at Goofy's Candy Shop in DTD. The pastry case has the yummiest cookies, brownies, fudge, etc. I believe we ended up with about 12 different treats that we snacked on during our flight home and over the next few days.

We had 14 snack credits left the last night we were there.

I too, grabbed (the last) 12 mickey mouse rice krispie bars at the POP along with 2 bags of mickey mouse shaped pretzels. I put them all on top of my stroller with my son sleeping in it at 9:30 the last night. You should have saw the looks I got with all those rick krispie bars!

We brought them back as souveniers for everyone and one bag of pretzels went to preschool to share. The other we kept for ourselves and it reminded us of our trip everytime we ate one.:)

Don't forget - you can customize your rice krispie bars with different toppings at Goofy's Candy Shop in DTD. That was the only thing I didn't know before our trip and I was quite disappointed learning about it once I got home.:guilty:

Print out the DDP snack listing on the top of this disboard and if you can remember to pull it out, I bet you'll find quite a bit of delicious snacks to try! That's if you're hungry after you CS & TS. Mmmm, loved that DDP!

Happy snacking!

At the candy store on Main Street in MK they have a case of candy. There is a chocolate mint fudge square to die for. They go for $3.99, so it is a snack. We took 2 home with us, except we did not go home. We went on a cruise and got home 1 week later. It was STILL delicious, and stays fresh for quite a while!
