I am looking to mostly stay within epcot, animal kingdom and magic kingdom when I go nothing in Hollywood studios interests me. What can I substitute for Hollywood studios I am thinking of disney springs. I plan on staying 6 days 4 days for parks

Well, you are certainly in the minority with your interests. Right now HS is the hottest park in WDW, with the additions of the Star Wars area and Toy Story Land. With that said you could easily spend 2 days at both EPCOT and MK. You could also spend an entire day at DS, but basically it is a shopping & eating location, so we usually only spend one evening there. Hit each park one day and then go back to the one you enjoyed most or left without seeing everything you wanted to see.

Have you been to DW before? We always do MK for 2 days and 2 days at EPCOT - we love strolling and eating around the countries in EPCOT. DS is nice - but for us it does get crowded and never spend more than 1/2 a day there. If you have another day you can enjoy your resort - or visit some of the monorail resorts - that's always fun. Also we enjoy the life on the boardwalk - you can rent a surrey, or watch different shows at night.

If I was skipping HS (which I would personally not do!) - and had four park days - I'd spend two at MK. I love AK - but with a good rope drop to close plan - I can hit everything I want in one day. EP - with the front of the park tore up right now - its just about hitting those rides as quickly as possible and moving on to WS. It's a one day park for me right now. I think once the park is back in order and both new rides are open - it might be back to possibly a 2 day park for me.

DS is just a shopping and food area in my book. I can manage 2-4 hours there - with a table service meal.

NOW - be careful - if you are buying the special 4 park magic ticket - that's one day at each park. So if you plan on skipping HS entirely - don't buy that one!

Star wars nor toy story are my thing now eating and shopping I love. I do want to visit the world showcase I am looking to stay at animal kingdom lodge

We always do 5 days of parks our first and last days are always Magic Kingdom. Then we do a day at each other. Normally Animal Kingdom is only a half day for us. So we will hop to either HS or Epcot.

If you have a park hopper pass, I'd spend that 4th day filling in what I had missed at the other parks.

Water park(s), selected golf experiences, selected Wide World of Sports ESPN experiences, add hopper plus.

Disney Springs, no theme park or water park admission needed.

NBA basketball experience, at Disney Springs west end, separate $34. ticket.

Cirque du Soleil, show at DS, separate admission.

I can't imagine not doing DHS particularly at night! What about MMRR? Love SW and TS and I'm seriously psyched about MMRR! Even if I wasn't interested in anything else, I couldn't pass that up.

Honestly, you don't have to be a fan of Star Wars or Toy Story to enjoy the lands or the rides. My wife could care less about Star Wars or Toy Story as far as the movies go and now Slinky Dog is her favorite roller coaster and she loved flying the Falcon on Smugglers Run.
IMO You should at least give HS a shot for half a day. It's a short bus ride from HS to DS.

I might for the food choices

People who dont like star wars still really enjoy the land.
Also you can check out great shows.
If i were skipping i would do another day at MK.

You didn't say what type of tickets you would have. Personally, I think you should visit all 4 parks if nothing else to just see what they have to offer, you don't know until you try. Having said that:

If you are staying at AKL, you can easily spend a resort day there, there are lots of little places to view the animals and the resort is beautiful.

We don't do DS, we live about 45 min. from Atlanta and I can visit high end shopping and eating there. We didn't visit it more than once or twice for about 2 hours when it was Downtown Disney. We prefer to shop and eat in the parks, just like the atmosphere in the parks better.

If you have PHs, it's easy enough to drop into any park for a hour or two then move on. I would plan to do one day in the three parks you want to go to, then decide which one you want to revisit from there.

DS is no substitution for a park, not in the least bit. It's nice to go for dining, maybe stroll through a few shops, but it's no park. If you are buying the 4 park ticket you are essentially throwing money down the drain. HS was never my favorite park, in fact it was my least favorite and one my family never wanted to go in to. I am not a big Toy Story or Star Wars fan either, but those two lands have turned that park in to a favorite of mine regardless of how disinterested I am in the two franchises. Writing them off before you've even experienced them is really doing yourself a disservice.

I plan on getting just the single park day ticket. Park hopper would be too much

I think what they mean is to ask if you're getting one of the new "4 parks 4 days" tickets. Those are less money than regular tickets, even without hoppers, but you can only visit each park once. If you're just getting a standard 4 day ticket, you should be fine.

And I agree that if you're not going to HS, then do a second day at the park you liked better of MK and Epcot. Disney Springs is OK, but it's really just an outdoor mall.

Ah ok I think I will do that

You can have a great day at HS and not get on a single ride. Beauty & The Beast, Indiana Jones, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Frozen Sing-Along, Muppets, Fantasmic!, Star Wars Fireworks, etc. All are great shows.

That said if you prefer not to go, MK is the best park for a 2nd day. It's impossible to do everything there in one day. Epcot can be fun during Food & Wine. As stated above, a good plan can get you through AK in a single day.
