What can be expected on my cruise for onboard activities.

Have taken many cruises and really enjoy the onboard activities such as bingo, Tequila tastings etc. I have an upcoming 7 day cruise and if ports are close,d it would be great to know if these activities will still be occurring.

Does anyone know if the onboard activities are still happening on these longer cruises?
THanks

No way to tell these days. They are changing daily depending on circumstances. But if you scour the DIS you will see posts about activities being restricted or halted in recent weeks.

We were on the Wonder December 3 and shows, movies, bingo, trivia, tastings, etc., were all going on. When we booked our trip, most tastings were fully booked, but they offered an additional tequila tasting on our port day, which we booked. In any case, there was more to do than we had time. Of course, with omicron, there could be more limits on activities.

  • Yes, you can still book tastings - but capacity is heavily controlled
  • Yes, some sort of Bingo is still being offered - but there has been reports of long lines to get in and limited capacity, which means lower jackpots
  • Apparently plenty of Trivia activities
Unless they quarantine everyone, you can still expect some activities, but as stated upthread, nothing is guaranteed these days.
