I brought my D90 last november, but with all the "stuff" we had, the kids etc. I ended up using my little P&S more.

What do you bring to the parks? (and feel free to link to bags you bring them in as well):

All that I have

rebel XT
canons:
50mm
28-135 IS
70-300 IS

and a whole lot of memory

MIkeeee

I bring great big piles of DSLR gear. I find that kids are even more of a reason to use a DSLR instead of a PnS as the DSLR is so much faster at "getting the shot"; not only faster focusing and shooting but faster turning on (especially if you leave it on all day as I do) and faster zooming. I also find it faster to bring the camera to my eye than hold it out in front of me.

However, reportedly Disneyland has recently begun cracking down on DSLRs with large lenses in the parks, with people being turned away and asked to leave them in their cars.

I haven't heard anything for a while so I don't know what the current situation is. But if you have a large lens or two, it's something to keep in mind.

^^DL was cracking down after the Lindsey Lohan incidents & Miley Cyrus b-day celebration, but I heard lately that they've been more lax. I hear any lens over 7" is subject to questioning. I think that as long as you don't look like a professional, then it'll be fine.
OP I have the D90 and I brought everything in a backpack:
D90 w/ 18-200VR attached
Sigma 10-20
Sigma 30 1.4
Sigma 18-50 2.8
Nikon 70-300VR w/ lens hood reversed in the bag
Lots of memory cards, cp filter, remote shutter switch, extra battery, lens cloth, extra ziplock bags
I had my son or DH carry the tripod through security and no one said anything to me about all the stuff. Only one person actually even looked at my lenses. Otherwise they just had me open it and then closed it right back up.
I left everything (except the D90 w/ lens attached +1 extra lens) in a locker, and would go back for whatever lens I felt I needed (or to swap them out) or to get the tripod when needed for fireworks. The 30mm 1.4 comes with me everywhere. I just put it in a ziplock bag and carry it in my fanny pack. I also carry in a separate ziplock bag the extra battery, lens cloth, and remote switch. (The ziplock bag protects against dust.) I know you're probably laughing at this cheesy solution, but it works and it is light weight and easy to carry. Whatever extra lens I take out from the backpack goes into its own ziplock in my fanny pack for easy transport. The camera comes with me everywhere in an Op tech bag.

For next weeks trip it will be:

Nikon D300
Nikon 16-85 VR
Sigma 30 1.4
Sigma 10-20
Mini tripod
Compact Canon SD1100 for when we don't want to carry anything

I bring all of my camera gear, but generally store it in the room and bring bits and pieces into the parks as needed.

I'd say 80% of the time, it's the camera with the 18-250mm lens only...no bag, no accessories. Another 10% of the time, I bring the 50mm F1.7 along in a small bag. The rest of the time, I will have a tripod, flash, or additional lens and bring the whole kit.

If I add a wide zoom to my arsenal (which I am badly drooling over), that will likely start making the tip into the parks with the 18-250 about 80% of the time!

Oh...and I bring my T100 ultra-compact about 5% of my trip - anywhere that I don't bring my DSLR - which tends to be walking around Downtown Disney, going to restaurants, minigolf, etc...for those 'you never know when you need a camera' moments. On rare occasion, I've gone to Disney with only the ultra-compact, such as when I go up to Orlando on a business conference and only packed my little cam.

I obviously need a more comfortable neck strap because my D90 w/ the kit lens is SO uncomfortable!

Next week, I plan on taking:

D300
18-200 vr
30 f/1.4
18-55 f/2.8
lots of cf cards
and I am probably going to order the 70-200 f/2.8

I usually have either a 24-105 or 10-22 on the camera and the other lens in a Crumpler $4M home. Sometimes I also carry a 70-200 in the bag.

We carry two cameras. The DW carries our Canon P&S SD970. I carry our Canon Rebel XTi with an 18-125mm. I am still in training though. More lenses in the future.

I love my OpTech Pro strap. It's around $20 or so on Amazon and I carry my camera all day long. It never leaves my body. And I have a bad neck & back on top of all that sooooo...I would strongly recommend getting one if you're uncomfortable. I don't like the straps that come in the kits -- there is no padding.

I only go to WDW, not DL, but I think the photographic requirements are very similar in the two parks.

I go bagless. I hate standing in line at the bag check, so I have devised a simple means of carrying my park gear, including my photo gear, without any sort of bag or case. This also has the effect of limiting the amount of junk I can lug around the parks with me at any given time, lightening my load and making it easier for me to get around.

My trips are usually one day so 95% of the time I have my camera and one small lens around my neck- and maybe a spare CF card in my shirt pocket. If I was going for the sole purpose of taking pictures I might carry one extra lens on my belt and throw the tripod in a locker until I needed it after dark- that's about it. Usually I go very light.

Wow, at first glance, some would call you a nut. However, I love it. What strap is that you are sporting? I love that the whole thing supports all of your needs.

Do people ever comment on this ensemble in the parks?

Yes, I have been called nuts. But most of the people who call me nuts are those who don't mind standing in a 20-minute bag check line to enter the park, or paying $2 each for several bottles of water per day, or buying a new Disney poncho for $6 every time it rains; I dislike those things, which is why I created that setup. It has a combination of elements that are tailored to my touring style and preferences.

I sometimes get people asking me where I got one piece of gear or another. But more often than not, I get people asking me directions or to take their picture because they think I'm a Cast Member. Something about a big camera seems to convince people that I work for Disney.

My next trip I will be bringing my D300 with battery grip and 18-135mm lens attached. I will also bring along 4 or 5 other lenses.

The 30mm f/1.4 can fit in my pocket.

Then the 10-20mm and 70-300mm will fit in lens pouches that attach to my belt (though I most likely wont bring the 70-300 to MK or EPCOT).

I will also bring the 18-70mm lens as a back up and will have the 90mm f/2.8 MACRO lens if I'm feeling like something different.

Since I have the battery grip attached I wont need to carry an extra battery. Though I will have 2 or 3 CF Cards in my pocket.

As for a neck strap, I use the Op-Tech Pro Loop with extensions so I hangs pretty low or I can sling it across my shoulder. 1000 times more comfortable than the cheep neck strap that comes with the camera.
