What brand of tennis shoes do you reccommend?

A day before my trip in July I purchased a pair of New Balances. When the sales clerk asked me why I was purchasing the shoes I told him it was for my trip to Florida. He told he also used them when his family went to Florida. The majority of the people I saw in the parks had on New Balances.

We were sitting, waiting for a show, and I took notice to what shoes people were wearing. New Balance won hands down.

I, too, have trouble with my heels and am flat-footed to boot, so I have always had trouble finding comfortable shoes/sneakers. I just purchased a pair of Nike walking shoes and absolutely LOVE them - they feel like a comfy pair of slippers. Good luck in your search!!

Though expensive i would recommend ECCO. They last forever and are very comfortable.

Another New Balance vote here. My feet bothered me for awhile and I was recommended NB. Needless to say for the past 3 years I don't even think about my feet anymore. I buy two new pair for our Disney trips and I'm a big guy and they have been wonderful. They come in widths up to 4E. Looks like its time for me to buy two more pair.
