I love to read, and I was wondering if you're reading a book what are you reading?

I was reading a book called Fishbowl but I didn't like it so I stopped

Here's the last few books I've read and loved:
The Lovley Bones
Cut
The Idiot Girls Action Adventure Club

I think now I'm going to steal "The Da Vinci Code" from my Dad and read it.

Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston.......this is STILL LIFE WITH CROWS...I have read all of their books but LOVED.....the RELIC and also THE RELIQUARY.....and Cabinet of Curiosities.....those are my favorites

I have about 80 pages left of the DaVinci Code. I am hoping to finish it up tonight, especially since DS 15 is patiently waiting for it. I think I am going to reread Skipping Christmas next. It is a quick, fun read for this time of year.

Just finished The Devil Wears Prada. A good, funny read. :)

My Sister sent me East of Eden by John Steinbeck. That is what I will be reading next.

DH bought me a new Nora Roberts the other day, but he got the second one in a trilogy. I haven't read the first one yet. :)

If you haven't read Seabiscuit I HIGHLY recommend this book. It took me a few chapters to get into it, but then I could not put it down. And I know nothing about horses or racing. It's the best book I have read in a long time. :)

2 of them.

One is Thornhold, a Forgotten Realms book by I think Elaine Cunningham (think that's her name). The previous books in her series were great, but I'm having trouble getting through this one for some reason.

Then last night, I picked up Lord of the Rings again and flipped to the end of the Fellowship (I finished that last year) to pick up a chapter before the Two Towers. Gonna see if I can get through the Two Towers this time. :D

My DH has the LOTR books somewhere. I tried to read The Hobbit once and could not get into it! I think after I see ROTK I am going to try to read them. I usually make sure I read the books before the movie, but not this time! ;) :)

Year Zero by Jeff Long. It's an archeological adventure novel about a biblical plague.

Let's see, I just finished "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens and am now reading "The underground history of American education : a schoolteacher's intimate investigation into the problem of modern schooling" by John Taylor Gatto.

I'm also reading "Meet Kaya" an American Girl book with DD7 and numerous picture books with DD3.

Great new trilogy. I finished the first book last week and now I am half way done with the second one, Key of Knowledge. I can't wait until the third one is released in a couple of weeks.

I'm reading LOTR, Return of the King. (I had to wait and see the movie first :teeth: )

I'm going after The Devil Wears Prada next.

The Devil Wears Prada is also really good

I reccomend "The Lovley Bones" by Alice Seabold It's very dark but an excellent read

Currently reading Degrees of Love by RAchel Basch and Joint Custody with a Jerk which is also very interesting and informing.

How is the new Nora Roberts triology? I have the first two books, but read just the first chapter of the first book. I usually LOVE her books, but just wasn't in the mood for romance when I started.

Ever since I discovered the DISBoards, I have changed my reading style.

Now I read less books and more DIS threads ::yes::

haha :rotfl:

In my continuing quest to read a good biography on every U.S. President, I am currently reading President Reagan, The Role of a Lifetime by Lou Cannon.
For kicks and giggles I'm also reading Angels & Demons by Dan Brown.

I just started Notorious, the Life of Ingrid Bergman. It's good so far

I'm reading "Patterns of Pillage: A Geography of Caribbean-based Piracy in Spanish America, 1536-1718". Believe it or not, I couldn't wait for this to arrive from Amazon. Very excited to finally be reading it. It's the 7th pirate book I've read since sometime in July. I swear, I'll be a pirate expert yet...

My last book was "Pirates of the New England Coast", but it wasn't very good. Lots of very obvious factual errors and questionable first-hand accounts.

Over the past week, I've picked up about 7 or 8 more pirate books to read. Huzzah! :teeth: pirate:

I just finished "By the Light of the Moon" by Dean Koonz. I bought it while at WDW 2 weeks ago. Today, I went to a used book store and bought 4 more Koonz books for my mother to give me for Christmas.
