Some of my favourites:

www.thepioneerwoman.com

This one always makes me want to move out to the country and spend all day baking. And buy a better camera.

www.hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com

Hasn't been updated too frequently lately but I always find the posts hilarious.

www.gofugyourself.com

Celebrity fashion blog, really funny commentary!

www.thestayathomemissionary.com

Great family blog, talks a lot about homeschooling, beautiful family.

www.maraadams.com

Beautiful blog of a family that lost their young daughter to cancer.

I love reading new blogs. I am a huge fan of biographies and memoirs and I guess in a way, blogs are like a mini day-to-day version of those! Little snippets of people's lives who are living all around the world in different ways. I would love any suggestions for anything funny, inspiring, instructional or just plain interesting!:goodvibes

(Oh, and I don't have a blog... but feel free to promote your own!)

I'm pretty partial to my own (although I don't update it all that often, because nobody reads it... LOL).

I have a long list of links on mine, though (all foodie blogs). I also love Pioneer Woman. A not-entirely foodie blog that I really enjoy is Today's Creative Blog.

Mine is at http://jedisue.blogspot.com if you want to give it some love ;)

I am currently obsessed LOL with the blog Enjoying the Small Things by Kelle Hampton:
http://www.kellehampton.com/

If you haven't read her birth story of her daughter Nella Cordelia that is an amazing place to start. She is actually featured in an article in the October issue of Parents magazine.

I look at a lot of blogs, some of them not often, some of them nearly daily!

I'm a big fan of The Pioneer Woman too, and it just so happens that my DH was transferred to one of the "big cities"she refers to, only about 30 min from her ranch! I've yet to run into her though.

This one has awesome recipes, but is a pretty simple blog
www.simplyrecipes.com

This one is a tear jerker... they lost their little girl a year and a half ago, and now they have a baby. It is a heart felt awesome blog.
http://thespohrsaremultiplying.com/

An oldie but goodie... once a week.
postsecret.com

More awesome recipes. And she has a cutie patootie baby boy, click on the different colored words to see photos of him in each post!
www.smittenkitchen.com

I'll stop there... oh wait, You must check this out!
www.bakerella.com

I will stop now.

I am sobbing at the "How did I get from this/to this:" pictures. That is one of the saddest things I've ever seen:guilty:

Oh my goodness, I know. The blog is heartbreaking, but at the same time... I marvel at their strength and faith. Reading it always brings tears to my eyes and reminds me to keep them in my prayers.

I am really loving Enjoying the Small Things and LuvCuteBoys, I am trying your banana bread recipe! Thanks!

Oh my goodness, I am reading Nella's birth story with tears running down my face. I work with children who have severe disabilities and are in hospital and I would love for all of them to be treasured like that sweet little girl. What a blessed family.

Thanks, Katy Belle, I will go check those ones out too!:goodvibes

Another vote for pioneerwoman.com. :thumbsup2 She is the best! Don't start "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels" until you have a chunk of time to read. I can't wait for the book to come out.

from the girl that does cakewrecks, http://www.epbot.com/

i have a blog, but i rarely post. i think my hubby is the only one that reads it. warning... i curse a lot on it. LOL http://sassyassmom.blogspot.com/

thanks for all the links, i'm saving them all and reading them when i get bored!

i read nella's story too. sad. as a mother of a 20 month old, they ran test after test of different things on me. why didn't she have that? makes me wonder. :confused3

Most of the blogs I read are friends also doing the photo 365 thing-Which I've had a blast doing for the last 1.5 years :)

I have posted this blog on The DIS numerous times.

It is about a woman who is fighting ovarian cancer. She has young children and a wonderful husband. She also has a sister who just lost her husband to ALS. How these people keep their faith is beyond me. I am rooting for them all!!

I've been into the health learning blogs of late. My self, and a few family members have heart disease and/or stomach problems so we enjoy learning from them.

Dr Davis a cardiologist
http://heartscanblog.blogspot.com/

Drs Eades, MDs that used to run a weight loss clinic and authors of several diet books
http://www.proteinpower.com/drmike/

Dr Briffa, UK based physician
http://www.drbriffa.com/blog/

Dr T a nephrologist who specializes in evolutionary nutrition.
http://nephropal.blogspot.com/

PhD Guyenet, a health researcher
http://wholehealthsource.blogspot.com/

And Tom Naughtons Fat Head. He isn't a doctor, but writes a funny, informative healthy eating blog.
http://www.fathead-movie.com/

There are more, but these are the main ones.

I just started my blog yesterday - haven't posted a darn thing on it yet, but I plan to soon. It will basically just be rants, vents, weight loss struggles, baking pictures, pictures of my goofy dog, and the goings on of my life.

Excellent timing! I just started a blog about things to do in Central Florida (and other random stuff here and there...hence the title Random Hangers) and would love to get more readers!

Besides plugging my own blog, I also enjoy :

Get Rich Slowly
Talks about finances in an easy-to-understand way.

Grocery Coupon Guide

He's the guy who ate well for 100 days on $1/day using couponing. Fascinating stuff.

EW's PopWatch Blog
Current/past pop culture. The authors are usually pretty funny, and the posts relatively short, so it's a nice "read on my lunchbreak" blog.

Of course I read the DIS blog, but I also love Knock off Wood (eventually I will make something from that blog!) and I read my friend's blog, she does giveaways every wednesday of very nice girly type things (you have to comment and then you are entered to win the prize) it's called The Short and Sweet of It. It's cute.

I will have to check out Pioneer woman, that sounds like my kind of blog. Oh I do like Smitten Kitchen too.

This may be a silly question, but where do you all find the blogs that you read? Word of mouth? Googling?
Just curious, I know blogging is so popular now, I would love to find some on subjects I am interested in.
Thanks!

The Pioneer Woman I found on the Dis - someone was posting about her and I went to check it out and loved her writing.

Minniebeth, I would say mostly word of mouth. However many blogs that I do read have links to other similar blogs so sometimes you can find interesting ones that way. All of the blogs I read are ones that have been recommended to me at some point though, I am not great at finding them!
