Are all non alcoholic beverages allowed for the beverage entitlement at counter service locations? For instance are iced coffees or smoothies allowed if you are eating at a place that has them? Thanks in advance for any insight!

No. At counter service it's soda, regular coffee or iced tea. We've been allowed to take bottled water or bottled juice/sports drinks as our dessert component, but never smoothies, cappacinos, icees, etc.for the counter service dining plan beverage.

Now many of the Disney-owned table service places allow shakes & smoothies for the dining plan beverage, but we've never been allowed anything but the standards at counter service.

How about chocolate milk for an adult meal? For example, if I upgrade DD to Disney adult for DDP and she orders a regular adult hamburger platter at CS, can she order a chocolate milk as her drink? Or are the DDP CS drinks limited solely to the fountain drinks?

We were allowed to have bottled waters for our beverage component at the Fife & Drum, Sunshine Seasons, Patisserie, Cosmic Rays, and Columbia Harbor House last week.

We were actually allowed to get a smoothie just a few weeks ago as our beverage at Typhoon Tilly's Snack Shack at TL. :) We didn't ask but the CM told us what we could get. We used 1 CS credit for a build-your-own fruit salad, smoothie, and ice cream sundae for a late lunch/early breakfast. :woohoo:When in doubt, just ask. ;)

We use chocolate milk all the time for our drink on counter service meals as adults. We have never had an issue with it at all. It is good to get milk in for at least one meal a day! ;)
