What (besides pictures) are your absolute favorite souvenirs from DCL?

I'm "getting better" about going into a buying frenzy every time I enter a Disney resort store, but I have to confess that I'm really looking forward to shopping the gift shops on the DCL.

I'm hoping to bring home something that will bring back memories every time I see it, and be useful at the same time (a coffee mug is a no-brainer, but I don't want to stop there ).

Please share your favorite treasures from the DCL ... NOT pictures; those are obviously going to be enjoyed forever. I'm talking about the cool, the unusual ... you know.

We always buy Christmas ornaments every time we're on vacation. When we decorate our Christmas tree it's like going down memory lane.

I like the Captain Mickey antenna topper. Ever time I see it on my car, I think of the cruise.

Absolutely, positively my (resin) ship model. It's displayed in my den/computer room & so I get to see it every day. There are a multitude of 'Disney items' in the room, but that ship is what always catches people's eyes when they visit. I love it!

I also always buy Christmas ornaments that have the date on them for memory keepsakes.

Hi Folks --

My favorite suvenior is the gold and pearl broach my hubby bought me on the DCL cruise. It's shaped as an outline of Mickey's head. I wear it often on dresses and suits I'm amazed at the number of compliments I get about it. My hubby is such a sweetie! He did really well on that purchase.

I know that he loves the DCL polo shirt he purchased. Every time he wears it we're both reminded how much we want to go again .. . LOL

T-Shirts from CC. Every time my wife wears one I always ask her "I didn't I get one?"

Photos and shirts are of course obvious. But I'd have to second the ship model signed by the captain.

Also we've added a chart - also signed by the captain - since DH & DS are both "map" freaks. It has been sitting propped up on the mantle since our return (18 months ago) but just recently went to be framed. Every time we look at it we remember specific stops and memories.

Our favorite is the Menu Collage we won/bought from the silent auction. It is proudly displayed in our dining room.

I always get comments and questions on my white Castaway Cay baseball hat. Has the coordinates and Bahamas written on the bill along with a big palm tree with the words Castaway Cay. DS7 has Capt. Mickey Ears which are neat. Ornaments are nice and magnets too.

OH I love this thread!! My absolute favorite was the sterling silver charm of the ship, it even says Disney Wonder on the bottom! I have collected charms since I was about 10, and I have them from my trip to Europe (I was 11), trips all over the eastern US, and now I have a the charm of the wonder plus I bought one that says Bahamas!

My other fave has to be the pins I bought and the story that came with one I traded!

My favorite is my hand blown Christopher Radko Ship ornament hand signed by Captain Henry.

My sterling silver charms of the Wonder and Magic. I also collect charms from all over. I have 3 charm bracelets.

My fridge magnets and playing cards I also collect these from everywhere we go.
