What are your top 5 favorite restaurants at DL (with kids age 9)?

Tomorrowland Terrace for breakfast b/c the lines and cooks are fast, have no problems customizing the orders, and most platters include a beverage like coffee

The few times we have wanted to buy breakfast in the park, this is the one we like too, especially because it seemed like the best bargain with the drink included. Tomorrowland Terrace is closed for refurbishment right now. DH and I noticed the same breakfast is being served in Fantasyland during the refurbishment, but the drink did not appear to be included in the meal. We're worried that when the breakfast returns to Tomorrowland Terrace, that the drink might no longer be included in the price. Bummer if it turns out to be true. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's not.

What a great tip! Why have I never thought to investigate this? I'm guessing they would do the same thing for clam chowder. I'm going to ask for it this way next time I go. Thanks!

Took me a long time too! I can't even remember how I thought to ask...it might have been a tip from the Dis, or maybe I just noticed the cups (by the way, the portion seems to be the same in cup or breadbowl, but it looks absolutely tiny in the cup, even though it ended up being quite filling), or it was a bit of lightening hitting me (I think it was a tip from the dis or micechat or mouseplanet, though)...I was happy to do it, though! Made it so much more pleasant to have my chili that day and just a small portion of sourdough.

I should state that I haven't done it anywhere other than Pacific Wharf Cafe...so I assume that that restaurant will do it with any soup, but I can't state for a fact that the other places will do it!


Oh dear, I do hope they keep their platters when TTerrace opens again!

I don't think anyone has mentioned one of DD9's favorites - Storyteller's for breakfast. It's a calm character meal (only 3 characters, I think), and you can either order off the menu or they have a small buffet.
